Hello, Im so close to having my cabinet completed, this is my final emulator to set up before i can install my pc into my cabinet. Im having problems when closing the WinKwak Emulator in either SNK Neo Geo, CPS, CPS II. It closes fine out of the emulator skips the "Pause Emulator Before Exit" Screen. When i try to load up another game nothing will happen. I noticed RLauncher.exe still running in the background so i killed it off and it worked. I am unaware of what settings to change to stop this from happening. I am running HyperSpin 1.4 and an updated RocketLauncher. This is the only emulator its happening with. I cant find anything weird on the Logs they look all fine so im at a loss of where to start.

It sounds like RL is still waiting for the emulator to exit. Make sure your using the exact emulator version as mentioned in the module.

Ive heard gooddd things about mame just have never taken the time to learn it and set it up while i have spent alot of time on WinKwaks. How do i go about changing the emulator esc button? i have checked the default controls.ini and winkwaks.ini and nothing mentions esc bind. i have just checked the module for winkwaks and it dose not have the esc bind in there either. I currently have RocketLauncher bound to esc to exit all emulators. all settings are the same in there.

Sounds like a different emu version you are running that's why its not exiting. You can edit the module or use the correct version.. That's the only way I know of.. It uses "win close" in module for a specific window class

alright so ive just downloaded a copy of RocketLaunch so i can get a fresh WinKwaks module, I just re-installed winkwaks. It seems like im getting a horrible new error, its saying it cant find my WinKwaks.ahk file in my rocket launch modules folder even though its in there (See attached file)
So i have given up on WinKwaks after spending a couple long frustrating days on it. With my cabinet being so close i think ill just find a way of setting up mame for CPS 1 and 2 since my Retroarch can luckly run all of my SNK Neo Geo Roms,  got any good guides i should follow for MAME?

ah i see, ive re-corrected the name but i think ive found a solution, i can run CPS 1, 2 & 3 along with SNK Neo Geo through Retroarch as long as i have the right cores and set them up. Got Capcom Play System 1 working within RocketLauncher and Hyperspin, Thank you for the help guys! i know i didnt solve my problem but i found a way around it wich is good enough for me since im sooo close i just want it to be done. Thank you again for your guy's awesome help!

I just use MAME for all of those. Dead simple to setup, only have to do it once for all those systems, all games get matched shaders/bezels etc...

yeah im just a little hesitant to use MAME, seems like alot of set up and installing the right files to go with each other, where with retroarch i got all the cores now im just configuring my binding and bezels and screen size and then edit the module for the new systems and i should be good to go.
