My idea/input: a night view of a mansion. That could be from the outside (with lights turned on), or the interiors of a "busy" living room (busy = crowded with items). Cartoonish style.

If you look at the background of the original handheld, you may come up with better ideas than mine.

Three games from the same series still to be upgraded - will do over this weekend:

Once all 8 games will be converted, I would like to publish them here. @Accorsi - I need your help here Any chance you can finalise the above wallpapers one of these days? If not, not a problem, I will delay the release until you're ready

Hey mate

The Bomb Fight wallpaper is gorgeous! I have mounted the handheld game on it and looks great at every resolution.

I envisage one only possible improvement, which I wish to discuss with you. The wallpaper looks a bit "empty" at the left hand side. Would it be possible to add some forest there (just a couple of trees and some bush) as a foreground? The forest should extend so that it is partially visible at 1366 resolution (as per the attached img) and leave blank space where the handheld is.

 

The Sleepwalker wallpaper doesnt look as nice as Bomb Fight, especially at lower resolution, where just the staircase is visible.

 

Because I dont want you to waste too much time on designing all 24 wallpapers, I have a proposal for you. I would try and search wallpapers myself on the internet and, if I am desperate and can't find anything good, I will ask for your help and we can discuss ideas for single games.

To date, I think I would love to have wallpapers for Banana, (a street with parked cars, shops, etc.) Sleep Walker and Pancake.

I could easily find wallpapers for the following:
- Monkey (a cartoonish jungle)
- Condor (a cartoonish prehistoric view with pterodactyls, etc.)
- Pirate (pirate ships)
- Safari (jungle, maybe with natives and explorers)
- Escape (a prison, or policemen)

I will then need help with the games related to Heathcliff (Caccia al ladro and Cessate il fuoco) and probably Chicky Woggy. With most of the other games, I think I could find good wallpapers.

For the time being, I will definitely use your Bomb Fight wallpaper (unless you can add some forest to it - that would be even better)

One last question. I wish to credit you in the game Readme file(s). I would appreciate if you could disclose your full name and surname, or do you prefer being credited as @Accorsi ??

I really enjoy the work and vision of your project. 

I hope no one minds, (all credit to the original creators) I added a couple different versions of Bombfight with trees.. I think #3 works pretty nicely..  No offense if you don't want to use any of them, I just like to try to contribute..

Also put togther one for Banana with and without a sun. Not sure you if you were looking "real life" scenes or if these are what you were thinking..

I created these and put the  blue line so it would be a visual for how low and higher resolutions would look... Let me know if you like them and I will post the different sizes if you like....

I love the one for Banana! That without sun looks better to me.

The one for Bomb Fight, how about using a different type of tree? Given the fact that the game involves an elephant, I think it would take place in the savannah, so a "tree" would suit better than a "palm" (which is more likely to appear in a desert oasis). Just my thought.

This is a mockup of the Banana game on your wallpaper, cropped ad 1366x768. It looks great. May I ask if you could do a small change for me (if you can/want).

That would be adding a strip of footpath at the bottom of the screen. Maybe you can make some room by moving the road and buildings up (a narrower strip of sky). This would suit very well with the game graphics. Just my idea - if you have no time, or you can't, that's OK, I will use your current wallpaper.

PS: please let me know how you wish to be credited on the game. Name or nickname, etc.

OK, so I created 2 versions. One with the footpath on the bottom and one with the footpath is visable in the lower resolution profiles. (I think the second one is better)

Let me know if this is what you were looking for or if you want other changes.  Now searching for african trees.  Credit is nice but not neccesary, as I enjoy contributing to the scene..

The one for Banana is perfect, I will use it. Find below the result with the game assembled on top, at 1366x768

With regards to the trees, although I like the design, I have some problems with the "shading". The shading of the trees makes them look much more realistic than the remaining areas of the wallpaper (waterfall and grass at the right hand side).

I believe the tree would look great if it utilises 2 shades of brown and 2 shades of green only (the shades of green could be chosen from the ones at the right hand side (grass and watefall).

Just to give you an idea, this is wallpaper I have found of the African savannah, which I am using for "Safari". The trees look cartoonish and the colours and their shading are consistent with the rest of the wallpaper.

Thanks for submitting the wallpapers, mate.

The pancake ones do not really look too good with my games because the games would be at the centre of the screen, so the pancakes in the wallpapers would be covered. This is why when the main selection criteria for wallpapers is that they should have their main features away from the centre. With pancake I would be happier with a wallpaper showing a busy restaurant - in cartoonish style. I will see if I can find anything nice around...

I love the one with the mansion, unfortunately that is a photo. If I could have something similar, but in a cartoonish style, that would be great!

The one with the sleepwalkers is lovely, however I am unsure it would look good with the game. I will try that on the game and let you know how it goes.
