I have credited you as 'bdove67' in the 'readme' file. But tbh with you, I would have preferred putting your real name there. Please let me know if you wish me to change that.

MADrigal Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 I will release 59 upgraded games AND one surprise. Not a new game, but something I have in mind which will be cooler than a new game
MADrigal Posted August 26, 2017 Author Posted August 26, 2017 @Accorsi Hi, the Bomb Fight game would be ready for release - except the backdrop which is still uncomplete. Do you have a chance to add a tree to the left hand side of the wallpaper - as per the above discussion?

MADrigal Posted August 26, 2017 Author Posted August 26, 2017 Haha I love it! Gorgeous! My comments: 1. the cat is Heathcliff, not Garfield! 2. the burglar should be a cat, not a human 3. the fish at the left hand side look too much "real" (not cartoonish) because of their shades, whereas the ones at the right hand side look too "flat" 4. the cat casts the shadow, whereas the burglar and dog don't 5. if would be cooler if the fence could be a little bit lower, so the handheld would not fit entirely within it. They look sort of "aligned" - that's something I am not a big fan of of I sincerely hope you can assist with the above. Sorry for asking too much... This is Heathcliff (Isidoro in Italy) This is the burglar cat Worst case scenario, if you can't find any usable (high-res) images of Heathcliff and his companions, we could use the wallpaper without any characters, just the garden with fish, bowling balls, rubbish bin, etc.
bdove67 Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Apparantly beer makes me have no knowledge of comicstrip cats! LOL.. Will be back with changes.. After I get some sleep.... ( This is getting closer I think?
MADrigal Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 LOL The cats are right now! Very well drawn And thanks for lowering the fence, too. Would you please add shades to the cats (some dark orange to Heathcliff and grey to Sonja) to make them look, and casting shadows on the garden (cats and bowling balls) ? Thanks a lot!!
MADrigal Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 And oh one more thing. Would you please make the pen a little bit thicker on the cats, to make it more consistent with the background lines (which are thicker) and the general look of the cartoon? Shadows should be solid black, too.
bdove67 Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Part 2 Decided the background was a bit blurry and noticed the fence on the game is a picked fence.. Add solid shadows added a bowl full of fish and bones... Not sure about the solid shadows..
MADrigal Posted August 28, 2017 Author Posted August 28, 2017 Thank you for that, bdove67, this one is very cool. Unfortunately the shadows are not what I had in mind and not typical of cartoons. The cats cast a solid shadow behind them, regardless of the surface behind them, this makes them appear like a flat sheet of paper. The shadow should be cast to the ground only, generally it has to be hand drawn to somehow match the cat's shapes. Same about the bowling balls and the dish (the dish's shadow is not bad after all). I will make an attempt myself, would you kindly zip the original PNG version of the bowling ball? I do have PNGs of the cats already, and as per the backdrop I would utilise the previous one (blurred, but very much cartoonish style). Thanks
MADrigal Posted August 31, 2017 Author Posted August 31, 2017 This is my attempt with the wallpaper for Caccia al Ladro. Small (1366x768) and large (1920x1200)
