Welcome to a New Universal Theme Idea.  Retro Cafe.

A simple package designed for beginners and veterans alike who want a uniform design to their system.
It uses Rainmeter as an addition to gain more control which I have dubbed, HyperControl. 

To install just download the 1.1.0 package and extract the contents to their relevant areas. Just be sure if you are not using this with a new setup to backup just in-case.

PS. You may have to change your HyperHQ Settings to High CPU Priority and High-Medium Graphics Quality to have the animations and video previews run smoothly. As in the video preview I had it set to Low Priority and Extra High Graphics Quality. At High-Medium there seems to be 0 difference in quality from what my old eyes can see.

Will look to incorporate my MGS Exit Screen (Also look to add a Shutdown instead of Exit Version and a Favourites Screen)

And a Special Artwork Pack, with New Options for Default or (8Bitdo, X-Box, Playstation or Arcade Controls, Similar to my Current.)

So I have layered the Video now behind the wheel which fixed the Issue with the frame showing over the wheel in parts.

I have also changed the media animation/timers to be quicker overall.

Just need to match the Wheel fade timer on the Guy on the right to make it as seamless as possible. :D

 

Also does anyone know the working amount of MAME Games available compared to the Hyperlist 9,772.. not including Child Copies, but the Working list.

Maybe the Hypersync Audit will tell me soon enough.

HyperControl Preview

So far launching is working well.

Still more things to add, may have to make the icons smaller and space them differently one I find how many places I will need. :unknown:

 

Edit: Updated to video preview and fixed a typo in the theme..

So I have fixed the transition on the man on the right so the wheel moves between the layers cleaner.

I have also fixed the transitions on the video and frame, however as the frame is a clean png and the background is animated swf the frame is still visible if you are really looking for it.

This evening I will be finishing off the hypercontrol Menu. I am looking for the best way to have the icons visible on-top of Hyperspin but not applications...

Might have the buttons themeselves launch batch files over direct programs so it closes rainmeter, You will then need to load it again however...

Maybe finding a way to just change layout in rainmeter on the fly is in order, so I can have a "Minimize/Restore" button.

Also does anyone know how to make Hyperspin show/hide mouse on command? if possible.

Next Hurdle is I can launch batch files fine but it seems the batch file can't launch lnk files from Hyperspin... maybe I need to include/add paths or drives somewhere...

I am thinking though, Perhaps I can launch Rainmeter with a minimal template on HS Launch.

The Minimal template to include Data & Time, Weather and buttons to load HyperControl and Audiocade Styles.

The Audiocade menu wheels perhaps to just load a message on how to use.

Another quick video Demo showing The current Hypercontrol Layout, Now with Audiocade merged as a Visualizer and playback layout.

All the Main Menu themes are now running from a single Default.zip with Layers 2 & 3 moved into the Images/Artwork folders.

Also shows a WIP version the SNES wheel running a similar Default.zip with Artwork Layers 1 & 2 to show the Boxes and Cartridges.

I used a modified version of Dark13's Scripts to convert the Boxes & Cartridges to 50% Size and 16:9 Ratio. Seemed to work ok.. Hope you enjoy.
