Not sure but you could try moving or deleting the ssf.ini and ssf will create a new one. Better still use Retroarch with the Saturn mednafen core.

Has Saturn progressed on Retroarch?

ive launched a few but very choppy/ no sound/ weak gameplay.

maybe I’m using the wrong core inside RA.   How do you choose what core you use inside rocket launcher?  I love RA and try to use it as much as possible

Global module settings to set core in rl

I use mednafen Saturn core needs a beefy pc though, true in general for Saturn emulation imho

Good luck

The first ???????CD message has something to do with the virtual drive, it's not mounting correctly (daemon tools) or the number in RLUI is not pointing to the right one, it's easy to fix.

Mednafen Saturn core or the standalone emulator works great, but only the fastest CPUs will handle this system well, I hope it will change in the near future, I can play most, if not all games at full speed, maybe some will still chop or something, but a heavy 3D game like Grandia runs great and I can even use fast forward to almost 90 FPS. I'll try Burning Rangers and Tomb Raider, I tried Daytona USA and it ran perfectly fine.

I set this inside the module as directed to

i had to manually download the core, but I notice it doesn’t have a .info file as all the other cores?

when I launch a game in Rl to test I’m met with the error:
