propdept Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Hello everyone I am PropDept also known as Len Krieger. For about a year and a half now I have Been coming to this forum posting questions as I am building a game cabinet. And I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has responded to my questions and put up with this grumpy old man. If it was not for your help I would have never been able to create what I have been able to create so far Right now I have finished all of the I guess you would call programming and now I’m ready to transfer when I have created into the computer that will go onto my game cabinet. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you and I created a video of what I have made so far if you are curious please check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxXC_fJ_Z5A thank you-everyone

thatman84 Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Fun video Lon and glad your having some success, your setup looks great but not as great as the PacMan T-Shirt!! ? Official Hyperspin Tutorials Playlist HS Android Overview & Install HS Android Base Pack Download My Tutorials
cranhill Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 Fun video Len looking forward to the next one, glad you went with Hyperspin it's a learning curve but so worth it, other frontends like to boast how quick and easy they are to set up but they look to generic and boring and they are only quick to set-up and look decent if you use the quality artwork from hyperspin, which most of the good set-ups do. Looking forward to seeing the Cabinet hope it all works out good for you.
propdept Posted June 23, 2018 Author Posted June 23, 2018 Thank you everyone. I have moved on to what I call Phase 2 I have ordered my new PC and once it arrives I need to transfer all file from my Main PC in the new one. Install some programs. make sure everything boots up when needed. Set up the pc to auto boot to start up Hyperspin. I was thinking about two things, Do you all believe the Hyperspin Win 10 update is required? And the other thing is maybe replacing the Window start up splash screen with som fun space invader welcoming you to my Retrocade.
gigapig Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 You don't need the update but there is no reason (other than it being annoying) not to. Windows 7 is easier to change the boot animation but you can now mes with Windows 10 with this. https://www.intowindows.com/hackbgrt-windows-10-uefi-boot-logo-changer/
