jeepguy81 Posted December 17, 2011 Author Posted December 17, 2011 Ok, Here's Kangaroo... Pretty much just the original overlay, slightly changed some positioning of stuff, as well as CPO sticker. Off to our holiday party for work so tomorrow I will bundle these last few new themes up and throw them up on the ftp for u guys. I will also update the wheels, and anything else I have. A couple older themes I did some really small tweaks to, nothing huge just me being A-retentive with the graphics. Will let you know which ones I edited. - Vertical-Cocktail Cab Theme Project
jeepguy81 Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 Thanks px! Ok, put Kangaroo, Pooyan, Capcom Bowling, and Bagman in the "New Theme Updates" folder. You should find new wheels, backgrounds, and glass top layers as well as the themes themselves. I also put updated themes for Space invaders (wood grain table), frogger and dkjr. Just small graphic tweaks to these, nothing crazy. Any issues let me know. - Vertical-Cocktail Cab Theme Project

The few cocktail Tetris tables I found images for were really bland, just instruction stickers and that was it, so I styled it after the upright bezel. Nothing crazy. Yeah everybody is on edge for 2.0. I will be interested to see what, if anything, with the layout needs to be tweaked. Since i've started this theme set, I've come across a few games that i consider great games from back in the day, that were done in cocktail table, just not vertically oriented. They are mostly 2 player horiz simul, so in mame i just set the game to cocktail mode, so it gives the dual flipped screens for both players, and still fits the vertically oriented cocktail table nicely. Games like food fight, joust stuff like that. I have a couple off the list done but haven't put them out there mostly because I want to keep focus on games that are natively vertical. - Vertical-Cocktail Cab Theme Project

jeepguy81 Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Been a little crazy for me lately but got a few done... Arabian, used bezel artwork mainly... American Horseshoes, this I did a little differently. This was obviously only done in a upright cab, but I tried to think how it could be in dedicated cocktail cab. So instead of a CP that sits just under the table top, I thought maybe the CP would be extended off the table top, with the glass notched out for the rollerball and buttons. Anyway here is what I came up with... **before this is uploaded i need to edit that wheel image so the man. logo looks right.** FoodFight, not planning on putting this up for a bit, but figured i'd share it anyway. Pretty close to the original cocktail cab, some tiny changes. This game is horizontal oriented, not vertical, but is a great 2player game. You can see in mame i turned on cocktail and flipped the screen so both can play. Just an idea... Up Next.... Vanguard! - Vertical-Cocktail Cab Theme Project
