wheel as top layer?

hi guys,

is it possible to have the wheel always be the top layer?  some of the themes are really busy and when idle, the wheel all but disappears.

Don't think its possible in the current version.

Might be something they consider in 2.0 The ability to set alpha layers etc.

If you can still just see the wheel then try turning up the alpha setting for the wheel. It stops it fading away.

either in HYperHQ on in the settings ini files there’s a wheel alpha line iirc set it to 1 the dial it back.

i can’t remeber the actual layers off hand but maybe other artworks can sit on top of it regardless of Alpha setting

Layers 1-4 and Video+Frame I think.... Only background layers behind the wheel.

So if you can embed all graphics in the background and make it an SWF etc for animations.. solved.

I do this in my Pure theme - credit to dark13 and his Aeon Nox theme for the idea!

The only layers rendered behind the wheel are "background" and "pointer".

The idea behind "default" HS theme is to have fullscreen arcade-like animations with wheel fading off, other themes are conceived to always show the wheel.
