Mingo6 Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Hey guys, I am struggling to get RocketLauncher and HyperSpin to work together correctly. I believe everything works ok on the RocketLauncher end of things, I can launch the emulators with the appropriate module settings, and the roms open as I expect they would. The issue however stems from when HyperSpin is in use. I have changed the path in the HyperSpin settings ini to use the RockerLauncher exe, but it appears to continue to try to launch HyperLaunch.exe despite the path directing to RocketLauncher. I confirmed this by moving the HyperLaunch exe out of the folder, and was greeted with a message telling me HyperLaunch was missing. I am using the current versions of everything so I really have no idea what is causing this bizarre issue. I am running Windows 10 and I have also tried running HyperSpin as an administrator. Any assistance on this issue would be most appreciated. Please let me know if there is any additional information you wish me to provide. Thanks!

gigapig Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 If you are using the latest version of Rocketlauncher and you have set the launch method in HyperHQ to use Hyperlaunch then you should be good. Also the line in the settings.ini should be like this. Yours may have a drive letter instead of dots. Hyperlaunch_Path=..\RocketLauncher\Rocketlauncher.exe
Mingo6 Posted April 6, 2020 Author Posted April 6, 2020 Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately I think the issue is something else, as I believe I already have these settings configured. I will include screenshots. b

Tell me does Sega Naomi launch okay? You never gave a error message so we still need to figure out why RL isn't launching (from little rocket icon). Do this for me: Set RL to "troubleshooting" Then try running a game. Then share the "rocketlauncher.log" here (through pastebin.com is best) but if you just paste here make sure to wrap in code tags to keep the thread from being too long to scroll through.

Wrong thread LOL
Mingo6 Posted April 7, 2020 Author Posted April 7, 2020 Thank you for the responses. Agent47 pointed out that there was an extra space in my path that I overlooked, so now RocketLauncher is starting as desired. Almost everything works great now, MAME for some reason produces an error. I have posted this on the RocketLauncher forum as well. Also here is my log Spawk: https://pastebin.com/3acQbgD4 EDIT: Everything works now! Agent47 suggested doing a manual update on Rocketlauncher, and using an updated MAME autohotkey script he provided. Other details are in the RocketLauncher forum! Thanks everyone!!!
