Polemicist Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Also looks like for INP we have to make a new recording for every game. Just started an INP and played crashing into ground three times at start then did a time out new credit and start again crashing three times into ships and it recorded everything from beginning to end. LSDguy your rules may need to include that. If everyone used the same build of MameUIFX that would be a perfect world. Kinda enjoying myself now and since my net connection is tied up with the FTP mirror I got nothing better to do.
joe35car Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Yes I noticed if you have enable hi score support might have problems playing back the inp. Also you might have to delete the file in the hi folder. See if my dkong inp works for the record I got here. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?35770-HyperScore-Challenge-1-Donky-Kong-%28-Don-t-Just-Lurk-Compete!%29&p=331238&viewfull=1#post331238

In fact I don't think I've enabled Hi Score support as such. Actually how do I do that? Yeah your Donkey Kong one worked fine. Oh and take it back I do have high score enabled and the hiscore dat anyone reading this refer to this video Seems my R-Type isn't saving my scores. That's a little annoying.
joe35car Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 click on options on the top menu bar> default game options> miscellaneous>check enable hi score support. http://www.phpbbserver.com/mameuifx/viewtopic.php?t=29&mforum=mameuifx
relic Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 you guys dont have to do this for me you have my word i will not cheat again if i do you can disqualify me from any challenge until i can be trusted 100%
Polemicist Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 LOL... It's not for you its just the best way to do competition gaming.
relic Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 well suppose your right personally i like the way arcade controls set there competitions not only does it keep people noted it also is way to tell them what the rules are and what rom you need etc to play it plus you make more freinds this way and its fair - http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,91316.0.html 100%
gigapig Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 As has been said before, this is just for fun whether you take it seriously or not, I am in the "not" category and the "fun" category. The rules also seem obvious to me, although I am middle aged and very wise You start the game (parent Rom) put in a coin, play until death, record score. Any aids or cheats removes the personal rewards and fun. Can someone explain to the uninitiated, this INP? BTW, my wheel only shows parent Roms.
relic Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 BTW, my wheel only shows parent Roms. have you checked hyper hq to see if parent roms is unticked 100%
gigapig Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 have you checked hyper hq to see if parent roms is unticked No Relic, it's set to Parent Only by choice, but thank you. If a challenge came along on a clone then I would uncheck it.
