damn, thats just cool to see that many machines under one roof

Here in italy we have 2 european arcade trade show (enada), one in rome during autumn and one in rimini during spring. The autumn one was very good and basically I visited it every year from 1995 to 2004 as rome is where I live. The spring's one was REALLY HUGE, I went there only once and I've never seen so many arcades cranked together.

Sadly I'm speaking to past as the exhibition still exists but now you'll see plenty of betting s***t and very few arcades, but back in the day it really was a freeplay paradise :D

As i said I don't go there since 2004-2005. Last time I went with two friends of mine... after barely 3 hours we went back home to play winning eleven on ps2. A LOT of slot machines/videopokers and really few arcades. The only new game I remember was tekken5. Here in Rome some arcades still exist but 80% of their space is dedicated to gambling machine or redemption. This is the biggest arcade in Rome and probably one of of the biggest arcade in europe http://www.extraball.it/pioxi.html . Site is in italian but as you can see from photos cabs and flipper are not a priority and now they have a cafe' while in back in the days it was all about cabs and flippers.

In late 90's enada was really gamer's heaven... sadly I can't find a video of that golden years :(
