Open single rom from main wheel.

Is there a way to just open a single ROM from the main wheel? For example, let's say I want to run Super Mario World from the main wheel, no SNES sub wheel. How would I go about that? Thank you.

I'm taking a guess, if you have no sub wheel then you can't use Hyperlaunch you would have to set it up in HyperHQ. That's the simplest thing I can think of, I would imagine there's a way to do it through Hyperlaunch but I can't think of it, as there would be no xml.

Scrub that, It seems that if you don't have the sub wheel in HyperSpin it then excepts only an executable, so adding a Rom won't work.

You can still use HyperLaunch for launching anything from the main wheel.

For something like this to work you'll need to create your own module though since HL won't receive a rom name so you'll have to force it yourself.

Could he go about it by copying the module for whatever emu he's using, switch the paths to specific things (ie put Super Mario World (USA) as rom name, and set rom path, etc.), compile the ahk as an exe and then set it in HyperHQ? It's pretty complex, but since I haven't looked at the modules ahk in depth I'm not sure if you could change it to specifics.

I think I am going to scratch the idea....I had thought maybe creating a .bat script and just launching as an executable might do the trick...But I think it is a bit over my head.

This video sort of gave me the idea. Is this possible? Or is this guy just playing with my head?

You would have to ask him, it could be just a mixed sub wheel, if he has any of them setup that is, and would be a lot of work on the main wheel.

Even a mixed subwheel with that variety is a lot of work.

Yeah, I don't think that's his main wheel. However, creating a favorites subwheel isn't that hard. Creating that gorgeous artwork though...

Yeah, his themes are so great. Very basic but crisp and just awesome.
