Ohh linking gameboy screens for 2 player action is pretty cool! Hopefully someday we'll be able to plug in the gameboy advance to the gamecube. Looks like retroarch is going to be a pretty amazing program when they are done with this big update.

Agreed. This update we will be able to use advanced shaders finally. So excited to get back my CRT Royale shader.

Me and my mate managed to link up once. I think of all crazy games it was Tetris??? I know right, its one player, but Im sure you could have a two player match... as you smash blocks the other gets them etc??

See the problem wasnt the linking, it was that you needed 2 of the same games. I dont know what anyone else was like back then but when I was a kid I always got the best game I could find that no one else had. The whole point back then was to swap and borrow, if you had the same you was stuck with it ;)

I just wish they'd make the cfg files work consistently. On my desktop PC retroarch works fine probably because it's all handled by HyperSpin. But on my mac it was a huge pain getting it to work because it kept reverting to some default cfg file I never found and that no one on the libretro forum could help me with. Eventually I got it working but it still reverts any further changes I make. Particularly frustrating because for some reason when I play NES, the start button resets the rom!

Just in case, do you guys know that hyperlaunch already supports gameboy link on the VBA Link module, and that there is already some bezels made for two, three and four players, no?

I for one had no idea. Thanks!

Truth is I don't even use VBA anymore. I switched to mednafen a while ago. Will check out.
