Thanks for the info.

 

I had a feeling I had to use an audio prgm to adjust levels.

Would you happen to have any suggestions for free/easy programs?  Can you adjust it in audacity.

 

I have pinnacle 13 or 14 but have to check if it's compatible with win 7 64...

No idea. Since the sound actually comes from the MP4 file I imagine it needs to be video editing software.

I tried a bunch a few weeks ago and all the free ones sucked really bad, but I wasn't really testing out their audio features.

I ended up buying Foto something something because it worked so much better than the other 6 or 7 crappy free ones
