Here are some critics:

Doesn't sound that "chippy".

The melody sound like you just played some random keys.

What software do you use?

Thank you blazer for your critic and the time you took for listening ! And yes i know its not a purist chiptune project this is why i did wrote Chiptune/Lofi but i plan to make it more 8Bit style in the further release Because this is more for an intro of an album !

And for the melody its sad you had this feeling because as a musician i had this melodie running from a long time in my head so it is bad that it gave that feeling...

The software i use its Renoise 2.8 and coming songs will have lsdj with it !

All the above mentioned are wonderful, I swear by Magical 8bit myself: http://www.ymck.net/magical8bitplug/magical8bitPlug_for_win.zip

It's free and I get almost all the chippy sounds I use out of it.

On drums, a quick sweep downward with a square wave would fatten your kick and give a more traditional chiptune sound. Maybe coupled with noise channel stabs to match your snare in a subtle way too?

I hear what you're getting at with your melody but it could played a little cleaner. There are some notes that are a little off, not sure if it's the exact playing or the delay from portamento but it does sound a little sloppy. If you have that exported to a piano roll or something you could probably just quantize those notes into place.

On the lsdj front, I'd go for one of the old fat Gameboys, preferably not emulated. They've got a really rich sound especially for bass, have a longer battery life and they're usually cheaper. Here's a few comparisons to check out:

You're off to a way better start than I hear from most people so don't get discouraged if any of this sounds harsh. Good luck!

I think it's a little slow for my tastes and could use some punching up and variety, but I don't think it's that bad... Definitely a good start. Keep going! Enjoy the music.
