The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

  1. That sounds cool. I'd definitely be interested in something like that.
  2. Playing my Hobbit table, tweaking my arcade cab... should probably do some soldering & maintenence on my Neo_geo cab...

  3. Ha! Yeah. I start with Phulsofs no Mature, No Casino, No utilities, No electromechanical, no mahjong, no quiz Then I strip away the rest of the casino & mahjong games still hidden. Then I strip away nearly all the tabletop/boardgame stuff. Then I strip out the Shogi Go stuff that's left over. Then I remove all the bartop games like Megatouch etc... Then I pull some of the crap protos and bootlegs. I fix the screwed up genre soccer game (Phulsof will jhave this fixed in 176) I un-clone most of the good clones listed in this topic Unclone the 2P version of 4+P games Fix/unclone the 2 Zero Team games Un-clone the 2 extra Neo Geo games I leave all the clones and simply filter them out in HyperHQ. That way I don't lose access to any of them if it turns out I want them. ...and I think that's it. After that I went through every single 4p game I listed and changed the settings or dipswitches so they play correctly 2P. Then I split that cleaned DB into all the Manufacturer wheels I use, then I split them all out with genres. So nothing special really. Here's my current database if you want. MAME.xml
  4. Ha! No. I have no plans to do that, it's been enough work as it is. People can copy & rename their own art for the clones they want. Sent from my SM-G935V
  5. OK, I'll throw those up there too. Afterburner is a clone? Of what? I'll take a look later today. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G935V
  6. I suppose. Although it seems like you could just merge them into your XML, or manually update them whenever you update MAME (didn't take me to long. This morning I un-cloned all the new games I added to the list, then went through all the 3-4 player games and set them all to 2 Player mode. All done, now when I update MAME next I'll just need to copy/paste the CFG's for those games... the work is already done. Since I un-cloned all those games I also went through and made sure they all had their themes/vids/wheels renamed and working too. I'm also removing World Beach Volley from the service menu list as I couldn't find a matching game (went through all the Volleyball games... didn't see it.)
  7. Both added along with X-Men dual monitor.
  8. Updated the list and the database: Xmen 2 player version & Xmen Dual Screen version Super Off Road Punk Shot Super SF Grand Master edition Quartet TMNT and TMNT Turtles in Time All American Football... Also added more options for switching games to 2 Player mode into the second post. Info came from the BYOAC site.
  9. I thought that they mase Xmen 2 Player the parent in the later MAME releases. There are a bunch of other 2-4 player games I'll try to check today and add them if needed. What's SF Grandmasters?
  10. That's what the list is for. You do it the normal way. Go through the list and manually un-clone them directly in your database. Just change "<cloneof>GAME</cloneof>" line to "<cloneof />", just like it looks in the database above.
  11. There are no parents in that XML. Just un-cloned clones directly from the list in the 1st post. For some reason some people wanted a DB.
  12. Here's a Database of the list above. Descriptions and Manufacturers slightly altered so that it's easy to tell the difference when combined with parent roms. 13. Starting a new thread to hopefully list all of the clones, bootlegs, hacks & prototypes that may be worth un-cloning (starting with MAME 175) Much of this was done previously by scottjen26. I went through and updated it, re-formatted it, added a bunch of games, removed others that no longer apply, added the Manufacturers so it's easier to make changes for people with Manufacturer wheels, made a database and added additional 2 Player game info. The previous topic is here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/406-mame-clones-worth-playing-a-complete-hopefully-list/page-4 Please post with any games you think that should be added, or about any changes that should be made and I'll try to keep this first post up-to-date! However they don't show in the normal Neo-Geo MVS database. 14. What speed is the CPU and you didn't mention a graphics card. An integrated GPU probably isn't going to cut it.
  15. I use a Kodak office 2150 all-in-one printer. Pretty sure it worked about 3 times before it broke printing my daughters homework. It's pretty super sweet.
  16. Nice. I like that it is so complete with wheel, fades and vid. Thanks.
  17. Version v1.0

    82 downloads

Widescreen theme for the Remix of Ultimate Ghosts'n Goblins for PSP that was only released in Japan. I built it from love and cheese.
  18. Version v1.0

    66 downloads

Full name: Arthur to Astaroth no Nazo Makaimura: Incredible Toons (Japan) Japan only official Ghosts'n Goblins game. Puzzle game based on the Incredible Machine games. I couldn't find any good or hi-rez art for this one so that's as good as it gets from me. Feel free to make me a better one!
  19. Version v1.0

    153 downloads

Theme for the Genesis (or Mega Drive) version of Ghouls'n Ghosts. The Ghouls'n Ghosts logo is taken directly from the original US box art.
  20. Version v.1

    180 downloads

Ghosts'n Goblins theme specific to the USA version released by Taito (has Taito logo in theme) Widescreen, based off the cab/marquee art. I took the outer border from an un-finished piece of Hyperspin art I found and finished it. No idea who the author of that piece was.
  21. Finalizing my dedicated Ghouls'n Ghosts'n Goblins'n Gargoyles wheel. Anticipating my brand new Hobbit pinball table arriving. Anticipating more info on my Alien pinball table. Anticipating my new Samsung S7 Edge and Gear VR showing up.

  22. Version v1.0

    80 downloads

My original Maximo VS. Army of Zin theme for my Ghosts'n Goblins wheel. Widescreen 16:9
  23. Version v1.0

    88 downloads

My original widescreen theme for the BGA version of Super Ghouls'n Ghosts, although it could just as easily be used for the SNES version (although it is using the BGA logo and OG art).
