Hello there, I am new, I just arrived here beacause I need the HYPERSPIN download. I recognize that I have not read any of the topics, and I'll just figure out how to set up my Arcade cabinet. I used to use MALA and INSTANTSHELLER, but Hyperspin seems to be superior, and easier to navigate among the roms. Well, I migth need to write more crap before I am able to download the file, so don't be mad at me if you find more texts like this in the forum. Bye

Hi all, A couple of months back, a coworker got rid of a working arcade monitor he got from a video game company he was working at. It was a test kit. I got it for free and decided to try my hand at making an arcade unit. Its half surprise gift for my girlfriend, half for me. She loves classic games, especially Pac-Man, while I'm more into arcade fighters and Schmups. I'm building a sort of living room table around the television. Anyhow I'm currently in the process of building the arcade cabinet with my friend and at the same time figuring out all this arcade/MAME/hyperspin stuff. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

New guy here, 40-something geek and longtime gamer. Recently acquired a non-working Xevious cabinet, took a stab at it and got it working again. That alone ignited the need to play the arcade games I used to play as a teen and have ventured into all things Hyperspin. Looks great and am slowly - but surely - going up the learning curve! Cheers!

Figured I'd make an introductory post and ask a question at the same time! For some reason this forum has taken my facebook band profile avatar that I don't use with anything else and automatically added it here. What kind of email/account syncronization happens when I register here? Also, Hi! I'm Andreas, thanks to all of you for having me here!

I've been out of the scene for about 3 years but I'm back now. I know a few folks like Dazz and some others from before but feel free to send me a message, ask me a question or just shoot the breeze any time.

Hello my name is Cathrin, I am new to this... over the weekend we decided to build a cabinet with the children. Thought it was time to show them what we grew up with back in the 70s 80s and 90s. Thought it would be a neat project for the summer we know how bored children get. My husband and I are not new to gaming but new to emulations. Yesterday I pulled out 2 raspberry pis we had knocking about the A and the B (512 version) spent 12 hours to no avail. Tried Retropie with RetroArch just keep getting errors. Seen 007Craft's video on youtube which led us here. Which is the best setup PC vs Pi? and software needed. Please help I can't face another 12 hours with n…

Just wanted to say hi and apologize ahead of time for the amount of questions that I will probably ask. I've been around using emulators for a couple years now, but have recently started to get into the more complicated side of things (frontends, trackballs, light guns, etc.). I look forward to finishing my arcade cabinet within the next year and hope to have pics to follow!

I've been a member since 2012, but always forgot to post something here. Anyway, I have contributed to the HyperSpin project, creating covers/spines for the Turbografx-16 games (thanks for letting me be a part of this, @brolly !).

Hi everyone! I setup a retropie a long time ago and now am looking into HyperSpin. I felt like joining the forums would be the best way to learn what all HyperSpin has to offer. The Pro's and Con's of HyperSpin and gather information of installs/configuration if I decide to use HyperSpin.

Can somebody help me to find a simple way ? There are some Dos box Frontends on the Web to create a sort of Config file to start the games with the right Setup. Hi everyone, i've been an arcade and retrogame enthousiast since i was a little kid. I stumbled upon HyperSpin after playing around with Mame and various other emulators to relive the memories from the past. HyperSpin looks amazing presentation-wise and offers a lot of options for an upcoming arcade cabinet project. I'm very interested and excited to learn more about it and read and share stuff and stories with the community.
