Hello everyone. Long time wannabe MAME arcade person, but now after like 15 years I am building a kit cabinet and taking the plunge. Built a PC same timeframe about 15 years ago and just did one of those 2TB hyperspin downloads and trying to figure this all out. I have an x-arcade dual tank stick with trackball and have searched the threads to start to try to understand how to get this drive up and running. If there are any tankstick owners that have patience and knowledge to point me to guides or additional details on how I get the tankstick to play friendly with this drive and get these awesome games up and running I would be truly in debt for that…

Hey everyone! I joined the HS community 10 years ago! I can't believe that this place is still going! I remember making a lot of content for HS, but now that I check my profile, it's completely empty, so I don't know what happened there... ? maybe a site reset? So many things could've happened in 10 years, I will probably never find out what happened to my content. I am really happy to be back, planning on using HS on my Windows machine that's connected to my big TV so I can sit on the couch and browse retro games. Originally, 10 years ago, I used HS on an arcade cabinet I built, it was amazing! It was a 4 player, 6 button arcade with two light guns and a roller…

Just saying hello to the community. Have a custom built cabinet currently, 2 joys, 40" 1080p, running RetroPie and have hit the limits of what I can achieve in this setup. Looking to migrate to Hyperspin and hopefully get some newer consoles on there to do my 40" justice! Seems I've got a lot to learn. >_< +++ath0 NO CARRIER

Hi everyone. I'm brand new here. I am 52 years old, so I have played MOST of these games. Thousands. I started with the Oddessy system in 1974 or 1975, then PONG, then Atari 2600, and the rest is history. I'm currently enjoying Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One, but I play Robotron 2084 equally as much. I am not a dumb guy, but I do get frustrated by "setup" scenarios and intricate .ini files and the like. As soon as I see a .doc or readme file that's more than three lines, I melt down. I just really want to play all these games. I am very interested in the ARCADE set, as well as all Atari, Mattel Intellivision, the Commodore 64/128, any BASIC language PC games, and …

Howdy Hey Everybody, I thought I would join up to the forum after seeing alot of youtube about Hyperspin and having tried a promotional Hyperspin drive I thought lets do this my way and here I am. I plan to assemble a Hyperspin setup that suits my needs. I plan to house everything in a 4 player cab with a dynamic marquee and P1 and P2 having Rotary sticks as im a big fan of Midnight Resistance. ? I expect there will be LOADS of questions ill be asking but im doing my own reading as well so I wont be totally reliant on the knowledge on the forum ? Take care and catch you all about the place.

I've been on this site for 3 years and I never realized there was a forum. I'm not very observent apparently. Anyway, let me introduce myself. I am known most everywhere else as Trenicion (I guess here is special :)). I am a game collector since 2006 and I found this website through a recommendation of a friend. My career is in historical preservation, as in I maintain artifacts and cataloge them. I someday want to do the same with gaming. Other then that, there isn't much more to say, but I will say I do make main menu wheels for a lot of things that you cant even emulate because I'm a weirdo, maybe someday I'll make something and post here Sorry to bore …

Greetings Hyperspinners! I am NoobTard. As my name implies I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. But this hyperspin thing is awesome! Is it possible for me to organize my music collection with hyperspin and to do all of the wheels and sub-wheels and pictures with music samples? And have the song launch with a background imagewhile it plays? I would love organize all my mp3's on an external hd that would just load hyperspin as soon as it was plugged in or accessed. Forgive my lack of knowledge on this subject matter. Thank you all in advance for the help. NoobTard

Hey My name's Dic and I stumbled upon this site by chance after doing some research on retroarch about a month ago. I have wanted to make a gaming table for a long time and relive the days playing commando as kid in the local pub, but never had a good enough excuse to attempt a project. My two kids have come to age where they can play games now and with the limited amount of simple storyline and control games that are available I thought I have my excuse to introduce them to some retro fun ! I banged together this from an old coffee table and now just working my way through the endless work of adding themes , other emulators etc.
