Hello, I wanted to introduce myself before posting any questions, concerns (as I've found an issue with my set-up, but I'll ask in the proper forum) and opinions. My name's Clifton and I'm from Missouri, in the United States. I'm looking forward to learning alot about HyperSpin, MAME and just retro gaming in general. just want to say hi to everyone on the forum... I have just upgraded my children gaming PCs to "latest" specs which means I now have 2 core2quad machines lying about. Did a search on you tube and found "Simply Austin" channel, awesome man, learned a lot from him :-) I hope the core2quad with 8 GB RAM is enough to get me going. Interested in 8 bit machines and of course Amiga, will try to get those up and running with hyperspin first, then maybe Atari ST and consoles....

Hi, I'm after a few pointers and advice please. I've dabbled in emulators on and off but only to play a particular game when i fancied a trip down memory lane. Now though i would like to put a collection together from commodore 64 upto playstaion 1 kind of era. I have and old i3 rig with 2gb gpu and 8gb ram running win 7. Any help welcome. Thanks.

Hi guys, I'm Steve from Manchester, I've been on the scene since the Amiga days and have the nickname Maniac while coding for many hacking/warez groups - them days are now behind me and I am more in to Emulation, 3D Graphics and my music I work in IT and own my own business and I have a photography company too - I dont get much spare time but when I do I love to play and mess about setting up systems for friends I am just trying to get in to Hyperspin and Rocket Launcher I will try to help with the IT stuff if I can.

Hello, I have been trying frantically to set up HS to load my mame roms, however it's not working at all. I went into the main settings and edited the mem.ini: [exe info] path=c:\mame\ rompath=c:\mame\roms\ userompath=true exe=mame64.exe romextension=zip Nothing works. What am I missing here?
