Hey all...you were such great help with my last issue I thought I'd try again. I grew up having a Mattel Intellivision. Thought it would be fun to add to my cabinet (running Windows XP). I've read a TON and am stuck. Here's where I am: I've tried BOTH Nostalgia 5.0 and 4.0. Both emulators work fine on their own, outside RL/HS and games can be loaded and played. The issue is when I try to launch a game through Rocket Launcher games tab OR in the Hyperspin wheel. First, I get a windows popup that says "Unable to load game from file." Then after I clear that out, I get the blue box from RL/HS that says "There was an error waiting for the window 'ahk_class Nostalgia…

I have given up on nullDC, Retroarch, and most other emus to run DC on my Windows XP arcade cabinet (win32). Then I found Redream, testing it on my Windows 11 workstation. Works AMAZING! Tried to install on my cab, but it only has a x64 bit version right now. Any help, guidance, suggestions? I don't even care if I can/can't get it working in Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher right now. I'd be happy just to have it working as a standalone program. Anyone have a recommendation? (I don't want to upgrade my system, out of fear that--having read plenty on it--it would mess up all my other settings, configurations, and everything working nicely as it does now). But, would dow…

Hello all... I seem to have run out of luck. I added a string of emulators without issue, and now my last two (Intellivision and Dreamcast) have given me issues. Here's the lowdown: I downloaded nullDC for Sega Dreamcast. Near as I can tell, I have all the necessary bios, etc. It works fine on my Windows 10 computer (but this is my work station and in no way associated with my arcade cabinet). I have an arcade system that I did not set up, and so I'm learning about HyperSpin, RocketLauncher, etc. after it has already been set up. In my setup, MAME is set to save game states on exit, so high scores and status of the game being played are maintained the next time I run them from MAME itself. However, if I run the same game from within HyperSpin, those settings are not maintained, and I don't see where to configure that. Is there a global option for HyperSpin to save the state of all games on exit, so that game status and high scores are maintained? Thanks!

I have HS configured and a few emulators I'm trying to test. I'm using a xarcade tankstick. I can scroll on the wheel and select the emulator and then the game. Then the preview screen shows the video and along the bottom it has select, exit, genere and favorites. I can hit enter from the keyboard amd the game won't select. I can't find any setting to map it. Ive got a profile for HS in the joytokey. I've always used Gameex but thought I'd give HS a spin.

So I am only using mame on my cabinet with rocket launcher and I want to use rocket launcher to launch joy2key. My question is I want to press a button on my control panel and have joy2key press 5 on the keyboard then press 1 right after. Is this possible?

Hi all, First, thanks for this great community. I have learned so much in setting up the new arcade system I just bought from my neighbor from reading the forums and watching your videos. A great service here. My system has Mame and SNES working perfectly. I added NES, using the Nestopia emulator (tried several versions of it)--every time the Rom either doesn't load through Hyperspin or loads behind HS (so if I exit HS I can open the emulator from the taskbar and play it). Hello. I’ve got Model3 running with hyper spin. When it launches any game the speed is ramped up. I turned of the multi threading using supermodelui. Now the speed is all over the place. Does anyone know how to fix the speed issue please? thank you

Hi, I'm having troubles to run games like die hard, soul calibur and tekken tag tournament properly.The gameplay and sound stutters. I use hyperspin and the emulator is mame. When i hit F11 when the game is running, i see that the emulation speed drops to 58%. Comp specs: intel core i5 with 8GB RAM My videocard is a NVIDIA GTX 980 and my monitor is a LG 27MP59G. Do i have a problem with my hardware or a problem with the emulation in mame and can i do something about it? Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for help running games as batch files through Hyperspin. I found one tutorial video online and I followed these steps through Rocket Launcher: - Created batch files that run outside of Hyperspin and Rocket Launcher. The batch files load Demul Shooter with a command line to run the game and emulator. - Added Bat extensions to the emulator in Rocket Launcher - Updated database xml to show Bat files Through Hyperspin, I was able to select the Bat file and it "loaded" but the game never actually ran and I was sent back to Hyperspin. I appreciate any feedback!

Hi, as you know Fightcade 2 released an NullDC version that emulates Naomi, how can I setup it for Hyperspin? I have demul but my GPU doesn't support DX11 and gives the "demul error hresult 887a0004", it's an old pc arcade cabinet with a GT 9800 via Super-Video, on a 4:3 screen so my best option to go for is NullDC Naomi which runs games like MVC2 and Hokuto no Ken at 60fps, is there a way to setup it for Hyperspin? I've found some info on other website about the module of NullDC Naomi, the post was from here but it was deleted. Hope you guys can help me, thanks.

Hi Guys, I noticed that "Ghouls and Ghosts" and "Strider" on the Arcade 1up Tabletop have an interesting way of handling split screen. 1 of the 2 screens is always slightly smaller than the other. The player not playing has a smaller screen. EX: -Player 1 dies then Player 2 is allowed to play. -Player 1's screen is scaled to be slightly smaller than player 2's screen. -When Player 2 dies the Player 2 screen becomes scaled down slightly and Player 1 is enlarged! Hi sorry for newb question but I have scoured the inter webs for days and have not found an answer. I have setup rpcs3 using the pclauncher module and bat files, which the only way rocket launcher would accept the games is if I made shortcuts to the batch files and used the shortcuts to get games into rocket launcher. Everything is working great and PSN games are running fine as well as full disc games, got a little over 80 games working. The only problem is I can’t exit the games using my game pad, I have rocket launcher configured to exit with escape when I press my xbox360 right joystick button but escape exits full screen in rpcs3.
