Thanks for that mate... geeez suh an easy fix but no matter what I did I couldnt test due to me having only 16:9.  Thanks for that mate, will pass on the fix to those stuck

Have you brought up to date and installed all redist, drivers etc etc needed for all this mate?

Yes it's all up2date, every other TTX game is working fine, but Samurai just crashes right away without any information why

Hmmm.. well your HW shouldnt have compat problems with it then, as only ATi cards have had probs.  CPU, RAM, OS etc all not an issue, one of those damn things with emulation.  Evryhting should be working but its not... but be one little thing  Ok try the fix for those people running ATi cards...  Download THIS and run the game through it.

Did you get Raiden III fixed Austin? Game crashes to desktop for me once player 2 presses fire. I am using an IPAC  2 for player one and 360 pad for player 2. Cheers

Only open for you I can think of is some recomend using compatiblity setting for the game.exe file.  Set it to winxp SP3... makes no dif for me so never needed it.

Now it's not crashing any longer, but i'm getting a blue screen and nothing else happens. I tried the other settings for Winxp SP2, Vista and so on, all acting the same way.

I play all my Roms and games  fom my P: drive, I always have.  Only one is Paradise Lost, that one makes a temp W: drive partition plays game then closes and deletes all on exit.  I can see that your hardware has nothing bad it doesnt like, it most have something to do with your setups or background apps.  Be something silly.... like for example I cant play some TTX games while I screen record with Action! (its a app, and a terrible one at that).  But instead of crashing the app like it normally would, they just dont load, as if its the games thats bad.  As soon as I close that app... it stops??

 

hehhe I aint saying you got that app installed though, just saying how such a simple thing on a system setup stops some of these acting like they should

Yeah i know what you mean, same problem with Win10, Teamviewer and PSX emulators, ill try to shutdown some apps to see if this works

Are you able to run Daemon Bride and Arcana Heart 3 outside of C drive with the sound working? My copy from the Gigapig torrent is playable when placed on any drive but has to be sitting on C for the sound to work on both of these.

All of my roms are on my G:\ drive and neither game has sound issues.

 

Just for process of elimination - are you using an internal or external for G drive?

 

Otherwise it might be time for me to revisit my TTX/Arcade PC setup....

Think i figured out my controller situation. I haven't been able to get two controllers configured in rocketlaunch for some time now so I created a custom batch file.The rocketlaunch is able to load xpadder with only one profile it seems.

 

Example batch file:

Start G:\...\xpadder.exe P1 P2 

G:\...\game.exe

G:\...\xpadder.exe /C

 

The batch file loads xpadder and then closes xpadder once game.exe closes.

To add to what SimplyAustin said, with me it's the anti-virus that prevents certain games from running. I have BitDefender installed and for whatever reason, I have 2 TTX games that simply won't start unless I completely disable the anti-virus. Even Gamemode on the Anti-Virus won't work.

Hmm i have AVG and uninstalled it, but it didn't change anything, still crashing or just a darkblue screen
