I'm running into a fade problem I think.i get the loading screen and then an error saying to turn off fade. I see the program up behind it but the table wasn't selected, its just at the main menu. I followed the instructions though, I'm using 1.4 hyperspin, newest rocketlauncher, newest exe 1.40.7 and all tables

I'm running into a fade problem I think.i get the loading screen and then an error saying to turn off fade. I see the program up behind it but the table wasn't selected, its just at the main menu. I followed the instructions though, I'm using 1.4 hyperspin, newest rocketlauncher, newest exe 1.40.7 and all tables

Were you trying to launch the DX11 version? Your log shows that fade was waiting for the DX9 version and that would cause the problem if you launched the DX11 exe.

To play the DX11 version you must rename the .exe for the Steam version. I'm guessing you're using a non-Steam version though since your on version 1.40.7 (latest is 1.40.9) so you may or may not need to rename the .exe. You also need to select either the DX9 or DX11 version in the module settings in RocketLauncher. If you have the wrong one picked it will act exactly like you described, run in the background just sitting at the menu. Check those things.

I can't use dx 11 and have dx9 set up on non steam. My settings point to 9 too. Can u run 9 in ur setup? Maybe only 11 works? My computer is too weak for it.

The module works perfectly with both 9 and 11. I just tested it again for you. Switched my module setting to 9 and it fired right up no problem.

What is probably happening is your "non-Steam" version is using a different name for it's Window AHK class than it is supposed to. If you know how to find that out (using the AHK tool if you have that) then you could change that line and make yourself a custom module.

I literally said it like that out loud, quietly of course. I'm not sure the mute works correctly though. Mute is on and I hear things until the game starts then it mutes lol. Note I somehow managed to use the exact files you sent me lol. Run as admin too

Hmmm. It should be silent right up until the yellow start button for the table is on the screen.

If you use a secondary app to control your volume that might be the issue. It could also be a sound setting in Win 7.

You might have it set so that when it mutes it drops the volume to zero and you have to manually increase it again.

It takes it a bit. It has to load the game, enter the menu, enter the My Tables menu, scroll through the list to the correct table, then load the table then fade out.

Can take a bit especially if it has to scroll past 20 or 30 tables to get to the one you picked.

[sOLVED] - I am little better than stupid: I choosed path to .exe of my stanalone PA folder. Working PERFECTLY now

 

Problem: After trying to launch a game from within Rlaunch , I get STEAM starting & trying to download Pinball Arcade (free version I suppose).

after Audit Rlaunch wont find any table (table list is RED, Found=no)

Another issue appeared: when I try to launch tables from within RL, wrong table is started (usually PREVIOUS or 1-2 tables far voisin  to the table I chosen:

example:

 

when launching CEntaur -   Cactus Canion is started instead.)

 

What is STRANGE: when I try to launch 20 times Centaur - it starts 17 times Cactus Canion, but 3 times - CENTAUR..

looks like some "keystroke slowdown when choosing maybe"?

 

I have all 61 tables in PA and 61 in RL camelist - just checked twice.

I tested from hyperspin - yes, it looks like a "jam" or "slowdown" when moving cursor to selected table - there is a kind of Pause when it moves - if you see such slowdown (table moving list hang) , wrong table will be chosen for 100%.

When cursor moves onto the tables - there is no sound. But if cursor is hanged on some table - this table wallpaper appears with sound - after that cursor continues to move to target table - in this case it will stop 1-2 tables far from desired table. Hope I could explain in my english heh..

 

If you you see no hangs or slowdown of moving Table choosing cursor - be sure RIGHT table will be launched.

 

How to  Fix it ?

 

by the way - I have some issue maybe with blockinput.exe ??? 

Just curious about this phenomenon (see pic): admin rights given to blockinput and rocketlauncher as well.

If your PC is lagging it and getting slowed inputs just add some extra wait time. It's one of the options right there in the module settings. Sleep Base Time.

It shows in Yellow because it is a custom module. That's how RocketLauncher works. Green is official, Yellow is custom on-purpose, Red means something was changed from original.

They're adding my changes in my custom module & ISD to the official module during the next RocketLauncher update. Then it will be official and green.

I don't know what you're asking about your pinball arcade folder. Sounds like you figured out how to put the path to the .exe to avoid steam and that's all you should need to do.

FYI: Pinball Arcade was just updated to version 1.41.7

Everyone running the DX11 Steam version (and some stand-alone) will need to re-rename their .exe's to work.

I just updated the module and the database to Pinball Arcade version 1.41.7 which launched today.

New AHK and XML are in the first post for everyone. Don't forget to rename your Pinball Arcade .exe if needed.

Not to bad eh?!

The newest version and newest table have only been out for a couple hours and I've already got it updated. Woot!

Yeah, messing with the module itself can really wreck stuff.

Hover over the ? next to the setting for instructions on how to use it.

Before you do that you might want to update to the newest module and database I just now added in the first post though.

Since you will no longer own all the tables you will also need to update the MyTables setting in the module to remove the new table. I'll make it easy for you and post what you need here in a second.

Here. Copy these tables into the My_Tables RocketLauncher module settings (just above Sleep Base Time).

Then don't forget you also need to change All_Tables to false since you no longer own all the tables.

By 2? The instructions say to increase the time by .1 increments. For example 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc...

To edit it directly in the module go to lines 173 to 180. Looks like this:

Change both 100's to 200 and see if that fixes it for you. However if you do that then don't share your altered module with anybody.

Something bad happens: firstly I updated all 3 files : AHK, ISD, XML

then I set all tables to false in RL menu

then I updated mytables in AHK according to your list

 

what happens now: Pinball Arcade closes suddenly after 3-4 secs - then the script is CRASHING my rocketlauncher - moving cursors, adding numbers ets - Hell... And I even cant stop it fast..

it wont allow me such values like 1.2 or 1,3 -- only fullnumbers... 1  2   3  4 etc

Interesting. Guess it doesn't work like the instructions say then. Never tried it myself, but I'll let DJVJ know so maybe he can fix it for the next official update.

Weird. Not sure why that happened to you. I'm using the exact same AHK & XML I uploaded (No need to update the isd as that didn't change at all). I tested it with both the DX9 and DX11 versions and it works flawlessly. I did upload them twice because I made a change though, maybe you happened to grab one file while I changed the other and got 2 not-quite-matching files? Try downloading them again and see what happens.

The reason you couldn't stop it is because the module blocks any joystick or keyboard inputs while it selects your table so if Pinball Arcade crashed and the script is still running it would continue doing that.
