madhatter3339 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 That's a 32" or 40" monitor?? I like the graphics!!! Did you use MDF or plywood??? Im making one with a 42" monitor and I worry because yours looks big but is at least a 4 player!!! Mine will only be a two player!
Boldog Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 Monitor is 32" haha graphics are just posters from Walmart from now just either varnished them on the control panel I used epoxy I used plywood the control panel is 46" across and that's at its wides point
madhatter3339 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 posters??? never would of thought about trying that but the print quality is right on!! The last graphic package I bought cost me nearly $500. Looks like I'll be shopping for some posters at least for everything but the side art!! Thanks
hitchhikingflatlander Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 If your skills are 2 on a scale of 1-10 you're being much to modest. That looks great love the X-Men theme.
Boldog Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 Oh trust me they're a 2 lol I remade it like 4 times before I was happy lol only own 4 power tools so Finally got my side art on so its a bit different I uploaded pictures

juicelee Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 looks killer mate, the artwork and colours are what a cab should look like.
ggood82 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Looks great mate , What did you do for the CP graphics ? Did you get them custom made ?
Boldog Posted September 16, 2015 Author Posted September 16, 2015 Nope I used a poster and put epoxy over it every bit of my arcade are regular posters from the store haha
ggood82 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Thanks for the reply , i did the same , The posters from the shop can look great if done correctly
jtslade Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I saw the word posters for side art and cringed but damn if it doesn't look pretty great. Nice job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kurtcd Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 That's an intense cabinet! Nice work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
fatalrhinoceros Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I know I'm rather late to the party, but I saw your CP and I did the EXACT same thing. Found the exact same poster for less than $5 and thought, this will work for now. I put it on a custom fightstick (my first and only build for now) but I have big plans for a nice 46" Samsung LED cab. Great work!
Kortoga Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Really good work! The Woodwork is really well done. Your idea for Artwork is is a breakthrough and will probably be copied by a lot more people in the future. Will save them lots of cash. I did notice you angled your joysticks with the buttons and player position, rather than the screen. Not what I would have done. I am not knocking your decision, I like the joysticks for all Players to go up,down, left, right as to the screen, not the angle you are standing.
