Something worth mentioning is if you have custom paths set up, hypersearch looks at subfolders within the paths assigned. I don't think it should do this and is likely for the errors they are seeing

Do you perhaps have custom video paths setup? Please turn on verbose logging and post the full log...

That was it ... I even forgot about the actual HS video path. I ve set them correctly and is working now :D

I ve added search in HQ as explained but when I press on the wheel but I get that message that RLauncher can't find emulator set for it :/ and cannot set emulator for it because there is no actual AHK file shared ... just a .exe and a .ini file.....

I have shared the AHK file multiple times now.

Edit: In fact, is in the post just above yours....

it's a .exe file ... not .ahk ... rlauncher does not recognize that as module

AHK file must have .ahk file extension .... never seen AHK file having .exe ext. ... plus if it is .exe call it EXE file not AHK

and even if it is AHK like you say and it has .exe ..... why don't explain in details how to set everyting up ... and how that error from rlauncher can be fixed

Put search.xml in the settings folder. Put the AHK file in the folder where Hyperspin is. In HyperHQ make a search wheel and make the AHK the file it launches.

It is an exe, but that is the same as an ahk.

@mccorkled

you call the .exe AHK, and .ini XML ... you are very confusing in your explanation

I did all that .... but RLauncher says that needs emulator to be set for it ... and that .exe will not show as MODULE in rlauncher because it is NOT AHK

How do I set up alternate wheel art?

You have to edit Settings.json manually

 "Misc": {
    "AlternativeSystemWheelImagePath": null,
    "AlternativeGameWheelSourceFolder": null,
  }

Make sure to double up on backslashes,e.g. "c:\\MyAlt\\Folder"

My tools

Steam wheel creator - Generate xml list from Steam profile with artwork and videos

HyperSearch - Integrates search functionality with HyperSpin

I saw that in the settings but how do I set it up for multiple systems? It looks like they have to all be in the same folder. How is that going to work for the same game across multiple platforms?

Shouldn't it be something like....

"Misc": {
"AlternativeSystemWheelImagePath":

Z:\Hyperspin\Media\Atari Lynx\Images\Artwork4

Z:\Hyperspin\Media\Atari Jaguar\Images\Artwork4

,
"AlternativeGameWheelSourceFolder": null,
}
