You have the mouse turned off in the settings.

The mouse is working.  I can select a character and highlight it with the mouse no problem.  But when I double-click nothing happens.  This feature works fine in Hypersearch 1.x.

Is it possible to configure HyperSearch to only show hits of ROMS I have actually have?  I'm still using version 1.x because it's less buggy on my system than the latest beta.

hypersearch at the moment doesnt directly use LEDBlinky but when use the program EDS with hypersearch setup alongside, it does work with LEDBlinky for what you are looking for

Hi.  Having an issue with HyperSearch 1.x (can't use 2.x yet...too buggy on my configuration) where if I modify the timers in the HyperSearch.exe.config file for how long I have to press before the HS window comes up, it disables my ability to have a working Search wheel in HyperSpin's main menu.  I can then only bring up the Search window by pressing the F1-F3 keys.  I  need to set those timers to 200ms or more because if I don't I can't use function keys in certain emus (ie WinUAE) that some Amiga games require.  Anyone else have this issue and found a fix for it?  Otherwise, HS 1.x works pretty much perfectly for me and is very stable.

I still have issues with LEDBlinky. EDS is running LEDBlinky, and hyperseach is running via startupscrtipt, but still when i enter a game from hypersearch, ledblinky won't ligth up control buttons.. ?

do you have hs setup with ledblinkey and you can use eds to load hypersearch

Yes, LEDblinky is setup in HyperHQ....  Please give me details on how to setup both LEDBlinky and hypersearch in EDS.. Really need this to work

I have beta 2 working but the "qwerty" keyboard appears incorrectly. The "Z" and "SPC" keys are way over on the right. I have downloaded this more than once and installed it on more than one machine but the "qwerty" keyboard has the same problem. If I use "Styles.xaml" from version 1 with beta 2 the qwerty keyboard works ok but obviously the other keyboard layouts do not.

 

Is there an issue in "Styles.xaml" beta?

 

Does anyone else have this issue or a fix?

 

Do the arcade controls for input work yet?

I love this app so much! It simplifies and makes the game search process very enjoyable

 

Two problems that I am facing with this release:

 

1) Triggering HyperSearch while being in HyperSpin maintains the focus on HyperSpin, so I need to click with the mouse on the HyperSearch window in order to be able to start the searches. This is a problem for me as I am building a cab and a mouse is out of the question.

 

2) Videos are not showing with the results. My log files says (for example with 19XX):

 

17:28:08  Video failed: file:///C:/Hyperspin/Media/MAME/Video/19xx.flv, with error: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Error downloading multimedia file. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0xC00D0FEA): Excepción de HRESULT: 0xC00D0FEA 

 

But if I do a doubleclick on that link, or even go to the path, the video is there (and it reproduces fine in Hyperspin).

 

 

Any help with this will be kindly appreciated!

I am also learning now to setup hypersearch and I have downloaded the set from ninga2bceen + v2 .

but now I am having some issues,

I think you have to point to the script instead in the #1

@shitoken, I don't know if your scenario is the same as mine, but I had the same video problem. In my case it was because the video files where flv and HyperSearch does not convert them on the fly. I am now in the process of updating all my video files to mp4 and the ones that were already updated are now playing flawlessly.

In the Ini you can set up an alternate wheel path and set it to artwork 3 or whatever

I have turned off cab mode and trying to turn on the show game video, images from the UI .

But it seems cant save. first there is not way to exit the UI. I need exit from the buttom task tray and reopen it but seems cannot save the settings I change.

Correct the is no exit button and I have requested that in the new version. To exit you have to press alt f4 or search something and as its thinking hit back button twice

A)I have turned on the display the artwork and video. But I am still not getting any artworks. I have attached screen shot below.
