PCSX2 Module Update

Thanks for this!  I made this change as well, and it seems to have fixed the issue with the ini files.  However, a new error has sprung up.  Now, when PCSX2 starts up while trying to load a game it says, "CDVD plugin failed to open.  Your computer may have insufficient resources, or incompatible hardware/drivers."  Then shortly after RocketLauncher gives me an error that says, "There was an error detecting when PCSX2 finished loading your game.  Please report this so the module can be fixed."

I've tried changing the CDVD plugin options in PCSX2, as well as in the RocketLauncher module settings, but nothing seems to make any difference.  I'm using Daemon Tools Lite, version 4.49.1.0356 the same as always.  I had everything working before with PCSX2 v1.2.1.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this issue?  I'd love to be able to use v1.4.0.

***EDIT*** I seem to have solved this issue by disabling the virtual drive for the PS2 in RocketLauncher.  It no longer mounts the images, but instead loads them directly in the emulator.  All seems to be working as far as I can tell.

Oh man, thanks for sharing this, I was going crazy cause my PCSX2 just stop working with my rocketlauncher for no reason and this solved the issue.

Thanks señorita!!!

Glad you got it working. I was having problems a while back but like you did, turning off virtual drive fixed it.

mccorkled, how many instances did you have to edit in the module. I only saw one, but I was cross-eyed while I was reading it.

There is only 1

Also, if you do any RocketLauncher updates before they fix this, your module will revert back to the previous version and you will have to edit the ini again.

Interesting. I just added PCSX2 2 weeks ago. 1.4 something... whichever the latest version is.

And haven't needed to mess with my ini's (so far at least) and haven't had any other issues with it (other than Army of Zin not running right in D3D mode).

The only problem with it is that the newest RL module doesn't close it all the way like it should, but they said that's sorted in the next update.

Hello,

I how can i update the module for updated emulator 1.4.0 every time i play a game it loads but the game stays in the background not visible and then i get an error with hyperluanch.

Hey I had the same problem before, it is something that needs to be fixed on the module. So what yo can do is change this configuration as mentioned by another user before on this post. See below.

BTW, you will have to exit the emulator by pressing ESC on your keyboard. It wont work with your hotkeys or whatsoever. Other than that, it is working pretty well with this solution for now.

Thanks badboo and agent47 for the info. Will look into it and for now i ended up going back to the emulator that worked with the module. At 1st it did not work is the reason i updated emulator but when i re-added it back worked fine and no slowness. Now I can finish working on adding media and stuff for the games i want on my list. Thank again.

mccorkled, thanks for the head's up!

I've been struggling with this issue for a while. Glad to see that my google search finally pointed me to somewhere useful :) Mission accomplished!

In regards to the exit emulator, I have my hotkey said up so I can hold select and press start twice to get out:
D:1joy7&1joy8

Big thanks to Simply Austin this in his Tips and Tricks video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iugW-mbn2-U&t=5s

Other than that, here are the setting I have set up in my Global Module Settings:
Fullscreen=True
AspectRation=16.9
PerGameMemoryCards=true
noGUI=false
fullboot=true
HideConsole=true
AutoCreateINIDir=Default

I have no idea what setting was implemented to allow me to successfully exit the game- using a hotkey or otherwise, all I can contest to is that it works for me.

Hope that helps,
Cheers!
