Bishop Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Jack, Honestly, I login to the blogs every once in a while specifically looking for any recent HyperSpin Reports! I get rather annoyed with trying to drink from the fire hose of content blasted across the forums and simply don’t have the time to peel back the layers and find relevant information. Your reports help tremendously by summarizing that content in an easy to read manor related to all things HyperSpin. I understand the need to provide info to those other front-end guys and maybe it’s something that should be posted as a report on their forums. I think we can all agree that an emu review report would be great for all visitors across any front-end… anyways I’m rambling on, but please keep those thoughts in mind before overhauling your reports! "I may be synthetic, but I'm not stupid."
jackhammersalm Posted October 4, 2013 Author Posted October 4, 2013 Your comments have merit. But the whole point behind thid is to give other front ends a fair share of space. Remember i want to give people an informed choice. Remember there are people that can't set up hyperspin for love nor money so pointing then to say GameEX as a first front end would be a good start. Polemicist Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 One thing I'd love to see is a list of all the little HyperInsertNameHere side projects that make Hyperspin that much better. Things like Hyperspeech and Hyperhelper and stuff like that. So many of these things never get noticed and damn they are awesome. Mental stability in question approach with caution.
jackhammersalm Posted October 4, 2013 Author Posted October 4, 2013 I have mentioned hyperspeech and hyperspinhelper (look under multiple display controller. gigapig Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 One thing I'd love to see is a list of all the little HyperInsertNameHere side projects that make Hyperspin that much better. Things like Hyperspeech and Hyperhelper and stuff like that. So many of these things never get noticed and damn they are awesome. Mental stability in question approach with caution. You are so right on the money there Polemi, the amount of cool stuff I stumble upon or gets mentioned in a balls deep thread, I'd probably never know about if I was a more casual visitor. Included are Hyperspeech and Steam wheel creator. So why, if these tools are in a usable condition aren't they at least in the downloads section or very easy to find? Why? Edit: It must take time for them to be tested and put up in the DL section. The last thing to go up was Duckifier Minted Set Verification Utility.
Polemicist Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Exactly. It is the little things. I only mention those two as they are two I stumbled on and are perfect for what I intend to do. I only found those by luck and a bad search where I put Hyperspin as two words.
jackhammersalm Posted October 4, 2013 Author Posted October 4, 2013 Well hyperspeech I used during the facebook update phase of the blog. As for hyperspinhelper will test it when i gglet multi monitor set up. I have tried to bring a lot of news guys remember it just me doing and there are not enough hours in the day sometimes.
