Dime333 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I can't get the main menu theme for PC-Engine to work. I can hear that the video is playing and it plays fine in windows media player, but i can't see it in the theme. What's wrong here? Are there any alternative themes out there? I saw one in the forums made by Titanusss, but I can't find it in his FTP folder.
Polemicist Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Have a look in the downloads section. It is most likely in there. You could also open up your theme with HyperTheme and have a play to see what the issue is.

Dime333 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 Solved it. Turned out to be a faulty video after all, even though it played in wmp. I grabbed Another one from the emumovies FTP and now it works. Thanks for your help.

Dime333 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 Yeah:) The default intro video when using hypersync needs to be replaced. I tried resyncing after deleting the video and the issue was back.
gregtryout123 Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I had the same issue when updating with hypersync recently. I had to redownload from emu movies server. Has anyone check the video hypersync is linking to see if it is bad.
Polemicist Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 File names need to match with DB or a sync will overwrite or remove so it seems. Still getting my head around that. So basically if your videos are correct don't sync videos for this system unless the naming is correct. Could also ask on the EmuMovies forum to see if Circo knows what's up. The DB you use needs to be on HyperList also not a custom one.

Maybe I'll try it via the site actual downloads but something is definitely up. I am......Machine
