Sithel Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Not a huge deal because I know the games work, but is there a way in HLHQ to audit TTX games and they show as me having them? They all currently say no in the audit.
gigapig Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 Not a huge deal because I know the games work, but is there a way in HLHQ to audit TTX games and they show as me having them? They all currently say no in the audit. These aren't Roms and you know the games are there so why bother with audit? All that is doing is checking the games against the xml and basically making sure they are named correctly. The only thing that is named is the folder you put the games into and that can be named anything really. Same goes for pc or Steam games and any attempt to make the red list turn to green would be just a trick.
goldseal99 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 since the update pclauncher doesn't use extensions , so now my xtype list in hshq says no roms found but they still work perfectly anyway to make them show green in the list (lol should have read the comment above first)

Polemicist Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Easy. Just put a TXT file named correctly in the appropriate folders. Did that for DICE just to amuse myself. I would like to point out that doing it was absolutely pointless and a complete waste of time. Have fun.

Beautiful, I just spat water and chocolate all over the wife, thanks to that amusing comment. Like you've got nothing better to do. Nice.
Polemicist Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 True. But at least I amused you enough to do that.
vampirolatino2 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 One quick question.... Is normal to have the list of games in red state? I have both, PCGames and Taito Type X list in red .... Having it this way is a problem if I want custom game controls how can I fix this?

boohiss Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Thanks to this thread, I finally have Type X fully working. So very nice to have it all done and set after so many failed attempts in the past.
gigapig Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 now i jusst get a I/O error. You will get an I/O error if you try to run the game by running "game.exe". As with most of the other games you need to run it from the supplied bat file "BlazBlue Calamity Trigger.bat" the bat file contains these lines. @echo off typex_loader game.exe You must also have "typex_loader.exe" in your BBCT folder.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed.
bob.records Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 What GPU do you have ATI cards are the issue with this game I have 2 Ati 6870's, glad someone even knows about this, was looking all over the net. Thanks Giga, I have all the other games working fine, even with the the bat file, and manually dragging the game.exe onto the launcher doesn't works, just strange it was before missing graphics before. Sounds like ati not compatable. Thanks Guys, hope fully will post some pics off my cab, need some creative input.
JoeC3109 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Had a question for you Gigapig.First off, great job on the guide. Very easy to follow and helpful. I have followed it all so far. Now, when I try to load any game, it says game.exe has stopped working. I have changed each game to its specific bat file, and this keeps occurring. It could be due to my bluetooth; I tried moving the files included in the FTP folder to the PCLauncher module, but I'm not sure if that's how it's done. As of now I'm hoping its a bluetooth issue, so could someone explain how to properly incorporate the files included on the FTP for bluetooth?
JoeC3109 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I believe I incorporated it the right way. Still getting the game.exe error with each game. I will try to post a log
gigapig Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 I believe I incorporated it the right way. Still getting the game.exe error with each game. I will try to post a log You can put those files in the module extensions folder, it doesn't matter where they go because all you do is point to them. This thread should show you how to set that up. Have you tried turning off your bluetooth to check if the games are working, or is that something you don't want to do?
JoeC3109 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I tried it, and had it disable bluetooth, then I tried the game. No luck. I continuously get the game.exe stopped working, every time it is a few seconds after I launch the game. I'm starting to think it is not bluetooth, and I just recently added the whole Taito Type X folder to my exceptions for my antivirus. I honestly am stumped here. I tried launching just game.exe outside of hyperspin. I get an I/O error within the actual game, but that is further than I was getting before.

If you can, you need to either disable bluetooth to test it or remove the Dongle. Never run a game from "game.exe" that will never work and I never showed that in my Tutorial. You need to use the batch file or the exe with this icon for the vertical shooters.
JoeC3109 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Once again gigapig, you've helped me out big time. I tried the tutorial you linked me too about how to incorporate the disable and enable bluetooth, and now I have Taito Type X working. You've done wonders man, thank you so much. One final question; the games that try to run horizontal that are normally vertical (ie the shooters and such) launch, turn, and then I eventually get the message about game.exe stopped working. I have the bluetooth on and off incorporated into all the games in the PCLauncher Module, so I didn't think it was a bluetooth problem, but I could be dead wrong again. Is there something special I need to do with those games, aside from running from the different exe's that you mentioned in the tutorial? I use the ones with different icons for each game that you mentioned. Thank you again good sir. Even if I have a few issues, you've got a brand new system up and running for me.

JoeC3109 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 For each one, it is the exe with the special icon, as Gigapig described. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Another related question. For super street fighter iv arcade edition, when I try to load, it times out looking for the fade in(i believe). I thought it should be named SF41? Is that correct?
