Hey lads. Do you listen to electronic music? Do you like to find new stuff? Well I do too. So I figured why not have a music topic on the forums to kill bits of free time. : )

Drum n Bass, electro, techno, rave, progressive, trance, synthwave, house, everything will do.

I encourage to share your new discoveries, old musical loves and favorite tracks. : D

I'll start with some 80s vibes, both literally and metaphorically.

Grandmaster Flash & Furious Five

Goblin

Gorgio Moroder

Lazerhawk!

You forgot this. :)

I used to and still do love Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, µ-ziq (Mike Paradinas) etc and would drive around in my Convertible Beetle banging it out.

I still pick up occasional Electronic music but lately it has been remakes of old game music on Kickstarter. The one I am waiting for which is nearly done is the Last Ninja Reformation by Chris Wilkins.

The one artists I have always respected is Cold Storage (Tim Wright) who did most of the music on the original Wip3out for PS1.

I mainly buy Metal, the last electronic music I bought that wasn't game related was this.

Here is Hasty Boom Alert

Window Licker

And this was cranked right up, still gives me goose bumps.

I've been listening to drum and bass for 20 years or so. I have turntables and vinyl n all that still but its not hooked up atm. Used to go to raves all the time in Toronto. I love all music though, mainly Hip hop and classic rock;

but anything from Big band/jazz to country too :)

I love every genre all I need to like something is to.... like it. : D Aphex Twin is already a classic, produced some great music there's no denying. Hadouken! is great too, some fabulous tracks from these guys, like: "M.A.D", "Liquid Lives", "The Vortex" and many more.

Squarepusher I'm not familiar with but early drum n bass is not my territory, sounds nice tho.

Justice - Phantom pt II

Para One - Mother (Mr Oizo remix)

Gesaffelstein - OPR

Com Truise - Cyanide Sisters

And since we brought up Hadouekn! it'd be a good idea to post these guys too.

Does it Offend You, Yeah? - The Tales of The Chameleon

They share a lot similarities with early Hadouken. : )

mix-masters, maybe I'll dig some out.
