GameEx Evolution Released

Well it looks like gameex evolution alpha has just been released to the public. This looks to be a serious contender in the frontend world.

Doesn't support wheel art so nope. Not for me. If I wanted a list with text I would create an excel sheet.

I'll stick with Hyperspin for now. Still playing around with Launchbox as well which is much nicer than Gameex.

I remember this video from a few years ago that blew my mind. Makes it look like you can do anything.

Considering it was supposed to come out oh, a year and a half ago I would of expected something much more appealing then that release video after the extremely delayed release time.

Yeah, I was surprised by that video. The #1 purpose of a front-end is to look awesome. Everything else is secondary and fairly unimportant.

Showing all these neat little side features is completely meaningless if the main theme's look like edited text and text info.

I just gave it a try and was rather disappointed. Evolution is only in alpha stage right now, but it's been delayed so long and seems to have very little resemblance with that 'preview' video from almost 2 years ago. Gameex is a nice frontend but it always seems somewhat bloated and slow to me

Looks like you have thousands of options on the screen all scrambled and mostly good for nothing.
