Very nice, thanks! I haven't had time to try doing this myself yet, so you may have just saved me the effort.

You can use them with 4:3, I am not adjusting the dimensions, just the sizes. It should be universal.

Artwork in Hyperspin is not universal, it depends on your aspect ratio. Hyperspin will stretch to fit the screen, so you have to adjust your artwork to compensate when it stretches to a widescreen resolution. It's the same reason why those themes looked squished when you open them up in Hypertheme, since they are for widescreen and made ready to stretch to 16:9. The theme itself cannot control the dimensions of any dynamic artwork, such as your box and cart art so they need to be resized separately.

To get an idea of what I'm referring to, take a look at your Gameboy screenshot. That box art should be square (300x300), but its displaying as a rectangle because it's being stretched along with the theme to fit your widescreen monitor. To adjust for this, you need to resize the width of your artwork to 75%. You'll need to save them in two formats if you still plan to distribute them for both 4:3 and 16:9.

Also, just a suggestion, but it would be helpful if you included a text file in each set that had the original dimensions and source of the artwork. It would be useful if someone wanted to make the art slightly larger, since resolution is lost when you shrink the dimensions and then save it in a standard image format. It would be better to downscale from the original files rather than enlarge them from your revisions.

All I can say is download one of them and see if it fits for 4:3, I only changed height and width of equal value of the original image. I am not out to make some big project of it. I am also not going to stretch of squish them to make them look perfect. I really am not that picky about it.

*edit*

I would also like to add, that all the images were of the original 4:3 images, so yeah they should work fine for 4:3, and stretch a little on wide. Maybe when I feel like devoting a ton of time, I will do a real perfect edit. For now, re sizing them looks fine for me.

Amazing work!!! Thanks very much, they look amazing in my fornt end, although I have to tweak the themes to get them to match up right... unless anyone knows if theres some pre configured with the themes above?

Also the normal Neo Geo carts I have are bigger than a wizzards cuff, does anyone know any others or if its possible to resize them all without doing it manually one by one??

But again.... thanks for the great work, they must have taken an age they are looking so pro!

Austin, I normally manually size one image and play around with it for a while until I like how it looks. I then create a rule in Photoshop to match and run a auto batch command on the image folder. The Neo Geo box's are huge. I almost don't want to re-size them because in real life they would be massive but I plan to anyways.

Figured out how to constrain the images to fit to 16:9, will make a second set.

They look pretty good to me on my phone! Will have to see how they hold up on a big screen but the shape appears to be OK.

They look really nice. I have a question about the artwork, though. When you resize the screen, do you keep the artwork the same size? I'm working on redoing the Atari 5200 boxes because the Mint Set on the FTP doesn't all look like the actual retail boxes and the size of the box art is 360x500. I originally did mine based on the size of the boxes available at emumovies which was 328x454 - I wasn't a gold member at that point and I didn't know the proper size. With my size, the whole box appears on the screen, but with the mint set size, it appears to be cut off a bit in the lower right hand corner - this is with the default 800x600 resolution. Would the full size of the 360x500 fit in your new themes?

If you use 4:3 you do not need to squish them and can constrain the image sizes, IE if you change the height, it will match the width accordingly. If you have a 16:9 display you will need to squish the width and make them look 1/2 to 3/4 slimmer. At least that is what I did. Could be another way but I just made automated scripts in Photoshop while it edited all the images to the folder I pointed the command too. Full collections are on my FTP if you wish to use any of them feel free.
