Aorin Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 I'm revisiting Beyond Oasis for Genesis, Story of Thor for Mega Drive. Easily one of the greatest games not only for the console, but of all time. Treasure games are always amazing and this one is special. I actually started this series in Legend of Oasis for Saturn, which is another amazing game. You need to find spirits you'll control using a magical bracelet to help you in your journey, the first one you need to free is the water spirit, then, fire, shadow and forest spirits. The water spirit can cure, if you hold A and release, it will become a tornado The fire spirit is the most aggressive and will punch any near enemy away, if you hold A for some seconds, it will release its fury. Bosses that fill the entire screen The Shadow spirit will reach items you can't and will bring it to you. You have a map to guide you, this game feels like a 16 bit open world and it's a big game, the adventure will need more hours than the average time you'd need for other games of the era. There's level progression and gems to collect, each color reflect the spirit, the more gems for a spirit, the stronger it becomes. Note that some enemies will become ash, like the zombies below, with a single punch from Efrit, some blocked doors will only open if you figure out some puzzles, some are as simple as just lighting up torches around. Random screenshots. Falling from high places is safe when the shadow spirit is with you. Aorin
Kondorito Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I started playing Rayman Legends. Never played it before, and I had it highly recommended. Boy is this game AWESOME! Graphics are gorgeous! Music is incredible (it even has some stages that are autoscroll where you need to hit enemies with rhythm)! Tons and tons of content and I am having a blast playing it!

I agree. We played it a lot some years ago and had a blast but it does get really hard. I need to revisit it.
