Gaara4000 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Hi is it possible to delete threads if i find that a thread i have created is a bit useless or outdated can i delete them somehow i don't like to leave clutter where there shouldn't be
Bungles Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Sometimes question and answer threads have their use for those that follow. But that being said, you could perhaps report the post to the forum team and ask that it be removed. However, I would wait to see. I am sure a Mod will reply and advise best practice. Rowr14 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 As Bungles said, threads that resolve problems (or at least discuss them) can be super useful for others having the same problem. Even a useless thread you can probably just leave to fade into the depths, otherwise you can edit your posts to put something more valuable there if you wanted. If you really needed a thread deleted (the main reason I could imagine is accidentally creating a duplicate thread) you can contact a mod who would possibly delete it if you asked nicely enough.

gigapig Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Or if someone creates the same thread in the wrong section, that will be deleted. You can ask for a thread to be deleted but only for good reason as the information may be relevant. If you just cocked up, we may want to leave it for all the world to see
