craiganderson Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Is there a certain version of MESS that is known to work best with Phillips CDI? thank you craiganderson http://craigandersonthemes.weebly.com/
dougan78 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I use 149 works good as a cdi is. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
joe35car Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 from http://nonmess.retrogames.com/ Due to licensing issues, MESS does not yet support CD-i games with MPEG-compressed video, and is not quite as accurate as CD-i Emulator, so CD-i Emulator remains on NonMESS. With that said, this is the best known standalone CD-i emulator, and a fairly mature one at that (although it is not freeware). There are very few other emulators known for the CD-i, and small wonder: the system was terrible as a gaming platform. Use http://www.cdiemu.org/
zerojay Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 cdiemu is terribad though. MESS without MPEG is better.
craiganderson Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 When I get back from vacation., I'm gonna go through each game with both emulators and figure out which emulator is better for each individual game. And maybe different versions of Mess as well...... http://craigandersonthemes.weebly.com/
zerojay Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 There's no need to use different versions of MESS for CDI for any reason. Latest is best.

fieldgoal00 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I tried launching some roms with MESS and it says that MESS doesn't support iso/cue files.
dougan78 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Enable dtools? Mine are bin/cue and work with mess. So maybe its just that.
