He's more media to consume while not running. I haven't seen this yet but will be later.

Good luck rust.

Do you guys know what cholesterol is? From what I know it's been in us from or early beginnings and is a quick source of energy in case we need to run away from a Sabre toothed Tiger. It's always in the blood stream waiting to be used up and a good way to burn it off is to run vigorously, on the spot for 30 seconds; which can be done almost anywhere.

This is ehere I picked up the info.

This is also very good, it's not a diet book, so no recipes.

The benefits of fasting seem very interesting.

True, it does work, and the living longer is as you say, is interesting. But for most people, unless they are single, it's not easy to integrate into a family. Same goes for most diets, as a family of 4 we try to eat the same thing at the same time.

All I've done is as I said in earlier posts, is cut back on sugar and carbs and eat a lot less. Before I hit 30 I could eat exactly what I liked without weight gain. But now I'm no longer growing so I don't need to eat as much as before, but still like a pig out occasionally. It takes time and a lot of will power.

A lot of what I find is portion size is key....we eat so fast that if we eat a little slower and let it get to the brain that we are full, we don't eat as much , also eliminating fried foods and soda helps a lot. And for God's sake stay away from energy drinks....death in a can.

Yeah dudes, just got gotta eat right and be active and you will live a long plentiful life. Just gotta find that willpower to do those things within yourself.

The buddy system is great. Keep up the good work!

Very true, I do love a can of Monster, if I do have one it's the zero sugar version, but I think people forget about the acid in them.

A friend of mine is addicted to full fat Coke. Every time I see him, he's bigger and has less teeth.

Geez! That's terrible man! Thanks for the information. I don't think the video lInk is working.

I will Dropbox or ftp them.

Another scary problem that can come with being overweight is diabetes, it's shocking what that can do.

Yeah dude, fortunately that was not a risk factor for me! I do not really have a sugar issue...except for brews. Doctor didn't mention that but I do neet the running to prepare for a long fun life!

Also Homies,

I noticed from your latest inspirational video, that you said your super hungry, how have you dealt with that? Have eaten more or less? It's very common for people to eat more and then wonder why they haven't lost any weight, when everyone tells them to do exercise to loose weight. You do exercise to get fit, not loose weight.

Something that makes me smile. I have an app on my phone called Cardio Trainer, which uses GPS etc to track your workout. If I walk for example 4 miles, it will then tell me I have burnt enough calories to eat 4 plums. Great :(

I've added something else to the Dropbox for you Steve, I you need something to listen too.

Yeah dude! I've been munching down quit a bit with Independence Day passing. Not to much more than usual. I'm in control. I haven't had any sweets or anything because I don't want to undo my running. But when I'm hungry I really feel it! Like my body absolutely needs some food. Not like before when eating was more routine and habit.

No offense, but that's how we - European - people, are seeing Americans. I mean, really, no offense. My job is about medical, i will never make fun about a person with a few extras kilos (like myself for example), but that's really typical about USA. During my studies, always the same example: USA, soda, pizza hut, mac donalds and all the junk food. And their coronry problems.

My advice? Use your head, don't starve, cut off sugar, drop Hyperspin and go outside for a few minutes of running. If you run fast = you will lose glycogen whicj is in your muscles, if you run longer, you will use fat instead, which is better.

don't look your weight too much. Yoiu will lose fat and gain muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat, so perhaps in a few weeks you will weight more. So don't worry. Good luck, be strong, and all the chicks will be yours.

Be strong bro, I'm sure that will pass. Drink plenty of water and if you need to snack, choose nuts, boiled or grilled chicken, green leafy salad, maybe a little rice. Steer clear of bananas (or maybe only have them once or twice a week) for energy, they are a good source of potassium (good for sperm production :) ) but have a lot of sugar.

Wise words Sir. The United Kingdom is just as bad as the USA or getting that way. The problem is, the foods causing the issues are very cheap and very addictive. It's very easy to keep putting food in your mouth, more difficult to stop.

I don't know much about the US health system, but it must do very well out of obesity.

I haven't weighed myself at all. I'm just concerned with being healthy and in shape. I'll check my weight at the next doctors appointment.

In fact, i used to live in London for many years, a few years ago now. I still miss london. And the famous onion grilled sausage at 3 in the morning... the binge drinkers... and the half naked dress to impress drunky girls. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah london....

Hey homies,

Today was a hell of a run! Feeling stronger and running longer. I'm also a bit more grumpy in the morning for some reason...maybe because I'm taking in less sugar...But other wise I feel much better throughout the day!

Just watched episode 5 and got the reference :) there's some quality touches to these videos, I like the way the host sprays his face with water and sounds out of breath. Go Stevie!

Do you run at the same time of day? And what time zone are you in HyperSteve? Your comment on all running together across the world sounds cool? I'd actually prefer to run in L.A or Texas, maybe someday.
