Building a favorites wheel. Anyone have any art already created?

Building a personalized wheel containing mostly favorite MAME games along with favorite games from other emulators. Anyone have art for such a wheel already uploaded to the FTP?

The art would be the same as the art for the actual wheel... All you would have to do is move it to the new favorites wheel media folder same with videos etc. Other than that, I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you mean like a "favorites" main and system theme? If so, I haven't seen anything like that, but it wouldn't be too hard to do using Hypertheme and maybe elements from the themes of other systems...

Right. Maybe I should have been more specific.

Was hoping someone made a wheel with art/theme distinct from the art for the 'Favorites' wheel that comes with HyperSpin. If so, I hoping to leverage/use it or be inspired from it to get to making my own for the first time. Lots of creative people on here and it would be cool if someone had already thought to do this and ran wild with it.

Perhaps there is a Favorites wheel out there that is already called something like:

Best of the Best

Greatest Games Ever

Gaming Nirvana

God of Games

EGM Perfect 10's

Icons

Old Fashion Fun

Something that isn't bound by the system name for which the game plays on, which all the wheels on the Main Menu are bound by; a true 'Favorites' wheel.

Before the new Hyperlaunch I spent forever making franchise themes IE every mario game etc. on one wheel. But I have less than zero digital art prowess, don't even own photoshop, and it was all terrible. I did get gimp recently to try and make bezels. Only, for a favorites I would have no idea what art to use. A google image search for the word "favorites" only brings up a bunch of chubby star shapes... for some reason. I'm with the idea though, so will keep looking.

Welp, I figure such a theme would be a sort of no holds barred, really take your gloves off, and go at it type thing. So first things first is the Wheel art and here is my first feeble attempt to get this rolling.

I spent five hours on Saturday trying to do this. I was thinking it would be cool to have a background of a video game mashup. The theme I was going for was essentially "I can't make up my mind". Something like this http://wpcdn2.ripten.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/mashup.jpg for the background. But then I spent 4 hours trying to add transparency to the word "favorite" and, after failing, gave up on life.

Edit: Thanks be to those of you with the patience to do the art for this front end.

As for theme music in the video snap, I was thinking of fading in-game music to an echo and think it would be better to put in some really iconic, yet cheesy, songs from yesteryear to transition from game to game in the video snap. Here is my list:

Final Fantasy VII: This would use it's own theme song because it is iconic in itself.

Ocarina in Time: Stan Bush's The Touch

Mortal Kombat: George Thorogood's Bad To The Bone

Street Fighter 2: Joe Esposito's Best Around

Super Mario 64: Tina Turner's Simply the Best

Metal Gear Solid: Nelly's No 1

Those games don't necessarily represent the best games ever or represent the games that would be in the XML, but I think the personalities of those games are instantly recognizable to belong in the gaming domain and match those iconic songs nicely. And it would definitely be more fun than using in-game music.

Is there a way of making a capcom classics wheel but getting all the art and media from the same place as MAME does without have the same art, media on capcom classics media folder?

Thanks.

I know you can point the video folder to the MAME video folder for the capcom wheel in hyperHQ. I think for themes and wheel art you'll need to have those copied to capcom classics folder.

I could never associate Stan Bush's The Touch with Ocarina of Time. All I can think of when hearing that song is Optimus Prime blowing away Decepticons

Ricky, I've never tried this but you might try syncing hypersync with the capcom wheel, make it think its a mame wheel? It might download all the art....

I did it manually myself.
