SUBZERO Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Oke i cant test this cause my soundcard is dead, so is this doing what i think it does? normalize all things to one volume?
Cruel Moose Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Yeah, it does it slowly. I was trying to use it, but for some reason since I set up xpadder, it was kicking in while I was playing an SNES game on BSNES. Not sure what happened there :/
SUBZERO Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 .ive read it again and no lol.......it does the master volume....thought it did everything to one volume.....wouldn't that be great
Cruel Moose Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 My bad. I misunderstood your last post :S Yeah, it adjusts the master volume.
REDdimension Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 This sounds very promising, but I downloaded 1.4 from the link at the top of the thread and the zip seems corrupted.
djvj Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Works fine here, try again. Namachieli Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Corrupted for me as well. I would like to try it.
Namachieli Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Ah, Win7 bundled winzip its corrupted, but open with winrar and its fine. odd.
Dime333 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I understand f you won't update this again djvj, but I noticed that when playing my "causul games" Wheel where I have my controller mapped to Control the mouse. The app doesn't register keypresses. In other Words when only using mouse ingame, the volume goes down even when playing. Cool app though.
djvj Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Dime, the app recognizes mouse input and considers you not idle anymore just fine. Did you test using an actual mouse and get the same behavior? If it's some issue with not recognizing a simulated mouse because of how windows sees it, I have an idea which should fix that. Dime333 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I tested with an actual mouse and got the same results. I'm using an old wired usb mouse and I'm on Win7 x64. I normally use this: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?32957-Fantastic-solution-for-mouse-controlled-systems&highlight=mouse+controlled I tried disabling that app and only use my mouse but It's still the same.
djvj Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 That's odd cause mouse works fine here. Anyone else have this issue? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4. rfancella Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 That's odd cause mouse works fine here. Anyone else have this issue? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4. Not with a 'real' mouse. It happens with my U-Trak. Simulated mouse. I'll plug in a real mouse and let you know. Also, running Win7-64. Confirmed. With my USB mouse, the volume still changes. Dime333 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I can't Believe this isn't working for me. This is exactly what I need fo my cab. I'm constantly adjusting the volume to keep the noise down in the house. None of the mouse buttons or moving the mouse triggers it, only keypresses. Is there any chance you could look into this, djvj?
Matt2468rv Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Love this app! I only have one issue with it though. I'm using it in combination with EDS (Event Dispatcher System) to send it "pause" and "resume" parameter commands when starting and exiting a game. Whenever I start or exit, a tiny rectangular box momentarily appears in the upper left corner with "wParam: 1" and "wParam: 0" accordingly. It's the same type of info box that appears when you hover the mouse cursor over something. This looks kind of ugly and I'd much rather have it completely hidden. Is there a way to do this?
newoski Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 DJVJ, Will this work with HS shelled on Win7?
ninja2bceen Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Am I reading this correct that if u r watching a movie in xbmc that the volume will still fade since u r inactive? If no, then I'm totally using this! djvj Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Matt, I thought there was a tooltips setting you can turn off? Newoski, it should work fine. Ninja, yes that would be possible, you would have to disable it before starting the movie, the re-enable after. So in User Functions, I could do a If systemName is PopCap... ActiveWindowsLogger.exe pause And at close: ActiveWindowsLogger.exe resume If I knew the path and such?? Matt2468rv Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Matt, I thought there was a tooltips setting you can turn off? Tooltips are indeed turned off, set as "false" in the configuration file. Yet those small boxes show up for a moment whenever it is paused or resumed by EDS. One other thing I've just noticed is that I cannot adjust the system volume while it is paused. I have buttons set to turn the volume up and down, but the volume just fades back to the same level when I release the volume up or down button. It seems as if the app is forcing the same volume level when it is paused. If these two issues could be fixed I would be one happy person.

How exactly would u do this? I'm thinking xbmc would be the only thing truly idle on purpose right? How can I set this up for xbmc? Dime333 Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 This app doesn't work for me when using a mouse. The voulume goes down even when playing. So this workaround would be great for me.
