Newbie need help !!

Hi im new to hyperspin and im runing in to a problem. When ever i try loading a roms it gives me an error message, on hyperspin or hyperlaunch.

i have the newest hyper spin and 6.01.1 hyper launch. the funny thing is it works on my windows 8 laptop but i get this error on my desktop. thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as Hyperlaunch 6. Not yet, at least.

 

Where did you download your hyperlaunch? Is it Rocketlauncher?

 

In hyperlaunch's directory you should find a hyperlaunch.log after you try to launch a rom, copy and paste it here.

Looks like your modules are out of date. follow a guide as to how to set it up, or at the very least you need to update the modules.

Well i brought the drive with hyper spin on it. It has 3.01.1c hyperspin,  it gives me an error each time i start a game but the weird thing is i installed on my window 8 laptop and it works. please help ..

Lol sounds like a scam, how much did that hard drive cost? Hyperspin is 1.3 and beta is 1.4

This is why buying a pre-configured drive of HS is a bad idea. My advice to you is to read the install guide here on the forums and follow it step by step to ensure a smooth install. Setting up HS is half the fun, and you'll benefit more by doing so, as you'll learn how to add new emus and such if you should choose to do so later on and learn how to troubleshoot should a problem arise, and trust me, they will at one point in time or another. Also, search out the "GigaGuides" on YouTube, they are easy to follow and will have you learning the basics of HS in no time. Good luck.

The best thing would be for you to contact the seller as they set it up and will know the system.

Give him a call or speak to his support staff about your issue.

 

If the line is dead or you can here waves crashing and Martini glasses clinking in the background,  you may have been scammed.

I really wish i have the time to do it my self. I mean it works but just not on my destop i really dont know why. The seller did try to help me out over teamviewer but no luck. Thats why i was hoping to get an answer here.

3.01.1? that sounds like you're looking at the Hyperlaunch version number, not Hyperspin.

Problem is no one will know where your files are, what paths/names, what versions of emus you're running etc... to even really be able to help much.

I know I can't really be any help. Sorry.

damn, it's too bad those drives that are being sold aren't set up by one of us.  Because then it would at least work to some degree lol.
