So create a folder in :\HyperSpin\Media\Frontend\Video Called "Intros" and fill it with the intro videos you want to use and name them "Intro 1" "Intro 2" etc.

Download the Randomiser and put it in your Hyperspin folder, or it will work anywhere.

Run it and you will be asked for the file you want to Randomise, so point point to you original Intro.flv file in :\HyperSpin\Media\Frontend\Video.

It will next ask you for the location of the folder with all the Intro videos you created in the 1st step, point to it.

Next select the settings you want to use, my original file is already in this folder so I haven't checked the add original box.

click Save.

Now, for some reason the program starts again, maybe because you can set another random instance but I just closed the program at this point.

So in the ini file that it creates I have this, but you don't need to worry about it.

Next fire up hyperHQ and click the Startup/Exit tab.

In the exit program field point to the randomizer exe.

In the Parameters field type "1" without the quotes.

If you created more than one randomization you need to type in the numbers of how many, so if you made 3 you would type "1|2|3" again without the quotes.

Now close HyperHQ and start HyperSpin. On first run it will show the original video but next time you run it the video will change.

Hi,I use this randomizer for my intro video and it work great, thank you. But I'd like to use this for randomizing my Nintendo gamecube intro sounds too, and I got some issues. I've created two randomizations, so when I quit Hyperspin, it should change both video intro and gamecube sounds. In the random.ini I have both section [Randomize1] and [Randomize2], but it seems that only Randomize1 is executed at the exit. Under HyperHQ I've tried many combination Under "Params" ( I tried "1|2","1 2", "1,2", "1-2" always without quotes). But it always randomize only the section1. I have changed the 2 sections in random.ini, so I'm sure the directories are correct (If I set gamecube sound Under [Randomize1] the sounds are randomized. If I set Start videos Under [Randomize1], the videos are randomized. I just can't randomize the two in the same time). Please help me

Ya I'm not sure it is a good randomizer other than for intro videos

It works good for the mp3 too. The only problem is when I want to make 2 randomize at the same time. The randomize 2 never happened and I don't know how to set it up with the arguments (1 2, 1|2 ....). Perhaps the man that has created this soft could help. But I don't know if he still post on this forum...

You don't need the randomizer to do what you want. Hyperspin selects an mp3 file on random when you open up the wheel if you have multiple sounds in there.

The only optimisation with randomizer is that you can choose that all the files in the list have to be played before another randomize. So you are sure that all the files are played once. But thanks again for your tip, it work great

The mp3's are played at random thru HS so it can happen that you hear the same sound twice in a row.

Randomizer only changes the file if you close out hyperspin if i'm not mistaken. So if you have a long session of Hyperspin you would hear the same sample over and over again. However if you leave it upto HS then you only occasionally would hear the same sample twice in a row. It just depends on what you prefer.

I tried randomizer with "start-stop" script addon, as I want to launch simutaneously Joy2key and randomizer at the startup...

No problem to launch joytokey, but Randomizer start from begining again and again...

Any suggestion for this problem?

Works fine for me! Did you follow my tutorial? I’ve got 60 videos randomized lol I have a problem. Also need to add it to the start up script!

it worked for me before i think when i had vjoy installed somethings messed up causing it not to work

i already uninstalled vjoy , but still cant get intro randomizer to work
