HyperSpeech: Text-to-speech addon for HyperSpin 1.x 0.9

I've downloaded HyperSpeech, but Avast tells me there is a virus in it : Win32:Malware-gen

So does this just mean I open notepad, save as soemthing.reg and it will be unlocked to choose as a voice. I'm confused where to place this file

You can download the reg file extract it and run it. No, let me download it for you.

Once you have run the reg file and confirmed is worked click the magnifier in the bottom left of W10 and type speech recognition

 

Choose Speech Recognition control panel and in the next window choose Text to Speech.

 

You may now be able to choose the voice.

 

The option was there for me but it said it wasn't available.

Those articles are from 2 years ago so may have changed in a Microsoft update.

Much thanks to Sevenseal for helping me get HM up and running strong. One feature I would like to try is to have the game info/history be displayed above the artwork, looks very cool. Could someone walk me through the steps and the files I would need to show the game info for MAME games. Or if this has been posted before, drop me a quick link to the tutorial. Boogie, could you please help me with downloading a different voice for my Led Blinky?  I have Windows 7 and the default voice is Microsofts Anna. I cannot figure out how to download different voices and what file to place them in so they are listed  in the drop down box in Led Blinky.

Hey BoOgieman.  I tried following the instructions you had on using the voice modulator to create a robotic voice, but even the game sounds came out modulated.  Can you tell me what I may have done wrong?

Prolly just got to change the pc voice. Look up speech to text voices then change the pcs voice name
