I haven't tried this system yet but if you check the hash file for loading instructions: "Load file BILLIARD inside the Monitor" You have to load the machine first "bk0010.zip" first and then go through the cassette loading process manually. MAME might not be the best way to run this system. It might be possible to create autoload save states for each game. You probably have to wait for quickload Software List roms before this system is easy to run.

It's not that straightforward. You would have to start from scratch. I realize you probably don't want to go through the time to learn and set up everything but none of us can help in this situation. Just purchase another one, then wipe the original 12tb to create a backup/clone of your new drive. Then you can experiment and learn how to setup and maintain your own hyperspin eventually. -

I downloaded my own upload and the files and games work. The games are not extracted to run because the .zip files are empty "dummy" files. MAME loads the "dummy" roms inorder to launch the corresponding CHD files. If you are using anything other than the standard current MAME core with the current MAME software list CHD, I dont think it will work. -

When you run RetroArch just go to "Core Downloader" and select Arcade(MAME) to download mame_libretro.dll. I added the MAME core to the upload. Extract it to your RetroArch cores folder and it should work. Yes, that hash file is correct. Which MAME Core are you using to play Super A'Can? -

All Windows 11 users on this forum should immediately disable all update services and wait for notification of a fix. If you are able, clone your boot drive to preserve your compatible Windows 11 version. Hopefully it fixes itself after version 24H2

Look, I finally did something!! Audio is still not emulated and it's not running at full speed. Still people want it, so here you go! Scanning the IntelliCards (HyperScan playing cards) through Mame File Manager is very frustrating. MAME software list named each card with only a number. I renamed each card assuming they were numbered in correct sequence. For the most part it seems to be correct when selecting Character cards. This system is barely playable. Even if the audio and speed issues were solved, the card scanning component will not work unless you can actually see the cards you are selecting. -

Great theme but I don't think it's part of the Nintendo Versus series. It's confusing because it will show up in the "Nintendo Vs." section of most MAME databases, but I had to name it as "Tetris (Vs.) to separate it from that grouping. -

It actually needs to be set to false for any system using MAME or Retroarch MAME core.

I think it might be as simple as turning off 7z (extraction) for MAME in Rocketlauncher. Mame loads zip roms directly.
