Confirmed, Steam games now start.

The feedback from the team is that custom systems like PC games and Steam will be tackled in a few weeks.

I will get a Steam game installed and try it. I have all the artwork downloaded but none installed on my cab.

Not sure adding PC games is ready yet, I tried using ArcadePC and Microsoft Windows systems. Tried adding the emulator as custom and pointing to the game exe but nothing was detected. Have you got your Steam API sorted?

Yes, mine is the same. Not everything is available on the servers just yet. Possibly.

Very excited about this though. Got Colecovision working, cool. But I then enabled marquees and I was shocked and very happy. If anyone remembers trying to get EDS and Hypermarquee working then you will know why I was pleased. I still don't understand those apps and the guy that programmed them was amazing to get it into Hyperspin 1. It is using wheel art currently but I'm sure that will change and it only shows up when HS2 is run, not HyperHQ.

I'm loving all the activity here and the chat again. But I'm on my phone a little too much now. I love the UI and the simplicity. So if I had HS2 in 2009 I would be happy playing Mame and Atari in very little time. Controller support is there and the higher Res, which have all been asking for. If there was only 1 theme per system that would also be great (that won't happen of course ) as I want to get into the games quickly. Really excited to see what HS2 becomes.

Glad to see the forums so lively again. I'm also glad that the Devs have finally shared their work with a much much bigger group for some extreme testing of the HS 2 Beta. You've had (and still have ) Hyperspin for 17 years to play with, get frustrated with and make better. We have had HS 2 for a few hours and with your help and patience it can become as special as the original. Happy testing.
