  1. As someone who has never used any other frontend other than Hyperspin, (that would be very wrong) this news from @retrohumanoid is very exciting and kind. Looking forward to seeing your work in HS2. Cheers.
  2. Keep adding those bugs to the correct section of the forum. Thank you.
  3. Welcome to you Matt, have fun.
  4. Glad to see the forums so lively again. I'm also glad that the Devs have finally shared their work with a much much bigger group for some extreme testing of the HS 2 Beta. You've had (and still have ) Hyperspin for 17 years to play with, get frustrated with and make better. We have had HS 2 for a few hours and with your help and patience it can become as special as the original. Happy testing.
  5. I'm not entirely sure and maybe you have found your answer. Would it be under 'Optimizer' the 'Themes wait for special.' Then under 'Wheel settings'>'Special Art' you can set a delay for that art.
  6. A great story and amazing work, I would love an original upright, maybe when the children have moved out I'll have room. The big question is, does your list of games contain 'Full Contact' for the Amiga? Classic.
  7. Did you delete the ini file which came with the bezel as he eloquently suggested?
  8. Very sad indeed.
  9. Today we are happy to welcome @Andyman as forum administrator. He has been an amazing help as moderator and has stepped up to help organise the downloads section now it is back up. We will also need more active staff moving forward into exciting times. So thank you Andyman and all of our amazing members.
  10. It is a very short life and we all should be able to enjoy every single second of it. To have anyone treat you like dirt is wrong and should not be tolerated, it would not be here. We only want fun, joy and that great feeling of nostalgia here, if you are miserable, grumpy and sad, please move along. 'Have a good time, all the time' - Viv Savage
  11. Unfortunately I have no idea, he was a great asset to the forum, very knowledgeable. Hopefully we can find or unarchive his old Amiga thread.
  12. Biggest ssd in the UK is 4TB and costs £200.
  13. Did you find a solution? I remember it being very awkward.
  14. Do you also have windows defender running as that will also quarantine the files. ¿También tienes Windows Defender ejecutándose, ya que eso también pondrá los archivos en cuarentena?
  15. You need to complete a support ticket and supply me with the account details.
  16. I would start again and follow these.
  17. Probably the position for that special artwork has the wrong coordinates. It will be in the settings ini for that system. If you have similar themes which work have a look at the working ini to see the difference.
  18. Here's my shonky effort, an old Wii wheel with a bicycle clamp siliconed to it. It fits nicely on the spinner but I never got it working in Mame very well. Time to try again. Now that cab in the video is very clever, he said it's USB but I saw no cable. The four holes must be the USB connections and the wheel must have pins to make the connection. The locking mounting bolts are clever too.
  19. Lovely well-made machine Andyman and I love the discipline. Personally I haven't updated MAME since before PD shutdown and I now only add games to the Sinden gun game wheel. So I just play mine, maybe I need a new reason to fiddle and tweak it. With just 300 games, what's everyone's top 3 arcade games? For me it has to be... 1. Defender 2. Pandora's Palace 3. Mr. Do
  20. Also, does the system use xpadder or has it been switched on by mistake?
  21. Modded how? To play other titles.
  22. Very good game, my son played it on the Switch and found it elements of it similar to Breath of the Wild. I'm currently playing Spider-Man Remastered which is superb. I picked up a Dual Sense controller to play it and experience the adaptive triggers but the effects are very subtle.
  23. Hello Hyperspinners We have a new moderator joining us, so could you all welcome Andyman to the team. Like myself he joined in 2009 and assured me he knows his way around the site. So a big congratulations to Andyman.
