Hi everyone... just introducing myself and saying hi. I am from Texas and I'm literally just starting to learn all of this stuff and it's all new to me. I'm in the process of watching the tutorials to try and figure out how to do everything to enjoy what Hyperspin has to offer. Did anyone else feel completely overwhelmed and intimidated when they first started or is it only me?!? I "thought" I somewhat knew my way around a computer system but this is a pretty humbling experience!

Hello everyone, I just started my hyperspin build (8tb) and have all my games up an running with some help from others. I have a quick question and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. How do I build a custom wheel in hyperspin that would have games from different emulators? I'm online just about every other day so I should respond quickly. Thank you, RUF

Hi there, I have recently purchased a second hand bartop arcade machine which is currently running Pandora 5s (joysticks connect into my jamma), but wanting to upgrade to Hyperspin, I have an old Nvidia sheild and was wondering if i could use that (to save some cash than buy a PC) to run Hyperspin, unsure if I can but any advise or direction would be appreciated - looking to run mame and arcade games like gauntlet, dragons liar - I am in my 40's so games around that 1980's/90's not too bothered about Ps1 emulation but SNES would be a benefit....hope someone can help cheers in advance

Hello Everyone, I registered since quite a while and have been using HyperSpin on my WindowsPC since HyperSpinv1.2.3. Back in the days HyperSpin v1.2.3 was developed for WIndows XP and I already wrote scripts and programs to make it work on Windows 7. I recently upgraded to HyperSpin v.1.5.1 due to Windows 10 1903/1909 was not starting HyperSpin v1.2.3 at all. I even replaced XPadder by JoyToKey due to XPadder was not working good in Windows 7 and XPadder failing completely in WIndows 10. Now in Windows 10 Home 1909, HyperSpin v1.5.1 works perfectly for me. Now I have created quite a bunch of usefull programs, AHK files etc. which I use in my HyperSpi…

Hello Everyone, Very excited to start exploring this tool and to get my own Hyperspin system set up. I'm an IT guy. I've been a gamer my whole life. I'm hoping my IT skills help me figure this all out relatively quickly so I can get my own system set up and then go on to help others. I live on a remote island so I have a lot of time on my hands and I intend to spend some of it on this. Thanks Guys!

Hello. New here. Not new to the Arcade cabinet scene. I built a cabinet 10 years ago. But sold it. For the past 2 weeks, since I bought an SFII Arcade 1up cabinet on clearance. I have started learning all about HyperSpin setup. It wasn't too hard for me, but this rocks. I don't have any videos to go with it yet, but once I get the hang of it. I'll be sure to get a membership.

After 4 days trying to get Nintendo 64 roms to run and play with 360 pad i fnally cracked it. I abandoned project 64 and decided id try Mupen64Plus i found this loads less annoying to configure , The main reason it wasnt working was the fact i had the wrong emulator version , youll need version 2.5 you can get it easily if you search the Mupen64 old versions site. Then i downloaded a fresh hyperspin 1.5.1 and a fresh Rocketlauncher and all i did for a few days was watch the very decent if a little out of date tutorials on here. Next i downloqded the joytokey program which has a free trial and doesnt require you to pay for it and still has full functionality a licence was …

Hello everyone. I just retired (from the Fire Dept), and am starting the process of building a retro arcade (either cabinet or pedestal) and a virtual pinball machine. I've been gaming all my life, pc, consoles, flight sims, ect. And, right now, have virtual pinball tables and MAME arcade games running on my gaming pc with the Arcade-X Tankstick to start, and am starting the process of getting suitable front ends running before constructing anything physical. Looking forward to researching, learning and building. Gary T.

Hello everyone, I am very happy to join this community. With the wave of retro games, i discovered Hyperspin, and i see the opportunity to remember arcades, Amiga 500 and different consoles . I project to make an arcade terminal. I will try to configure my Hyperspin interface to personalize it and to keep you regularly informed of my progress. I know i'm going to a long, very long way....but the idea of doing everything yourself is very exciting. See you soon Gamers.

Having pottered about with MAME for years and Daphne and not having the time to make my own system l purchased a 8tb cabinet set up. Its a beautiful machine. Well built with a Tron theme. Havent had the chance to use it much due to work and moving house. It boots straight into HS. Having checked a few of my fav games l find a few things missing. Is there a tutorial of short cuts/key stokes for HS. I now know Alt-F4 gets me out of HS and allows me to ctl-alt-del into task manager. I would like to find out where the favourite folder is and clear it. Thanks in advance.
