I recently changed from windows 7 to 10 and I just recently realized that my nes games takes a long time to load! Using Hyperspin 1.4 latest version with RL, emulator used is standalone Fceux 2.2.3. WIndows 10 Any game I launch in Hyperspin starts the emulator right away, but it hangs for about 5-10 seconds and then it loads. I know it's only a couple of seconds, but it's the only emulator taking so much time, plus it's nes! I don't have that problem with other emulators like nestopia, but I prefer fceux over the others. Did any of you guys encountered the same problem when changing to windows 10?

Hi, Is there anyway I can set a default video for a specific system? I tried to put a Default.mp4 into HyperSpin\Media\Nintendo Wii U\Video\ but that didn't work. What name should I use for the default video or it is even possible at all?

I have set up my first system in Hyperspin the snes with help from Simply Austin and it seems to be working perfectly. But as you can see in my attached foto some information are top of each other? Not sure how to fix this.

Hi all. Just wondering if there's a way around the "roms only" option on the wheel settings in hyper HQ, I'm sure everyone knows that in 1.4 when you click it then run hyperspin it doesn't work... Or am I doing something wrong here? Is there any way around this? I've got quite a few wheels that show up but with no rom, without trawling through checking all of them it'd be handy if it worked.

So I wanted to play a little Mario Kart on GBA. When I try to get in the GBA Wheel it would crash. I dont recall changing anything. Any reason why it would crash? Seems like a dumb ass question but I've been searching online and even went into a local game stop and asked them if they had any wireless USB controllers for PC and they said no. Online I haven't truly done a deep search but just hitting google and ending up on websites like Target or Best Buy and they have wireless usb game controllers but the descriptions mention they are compatible with apple devices (no mention of PC) perhaps I haven't looked hard enough for PC wireless USB controllers? I currently have a 360 Wireless controller that I haven't even used yet because I didn't order my microsoft (or knock off) wireless usb adapter yet.. most likely this will be all …

Recently hyperspin has been giving a popup every few seconds saying "Current Genre: All Games" when from what i remember it's only supposed to show once when you switch genres or first open a system, but now it shows it every few seconds... Its kinda annoying and not sure why this recently started happening. is there a way to make it go away? I've attached a screenshot.

Hello! First time poster here looking for some advice. I have followed the guide in these forums to set up HyperSpin and RocketLauncher, but I have an issue when loading the ROM. It's worth noting that in RocketLauncherUI I manually changed the path of the MAME emulator to ..\Hyperspin\Emulators\MAME\mame64.exe. I have also tried the 32bit version (..\Hyperspin\Emulators\MAME\mame64.exe) When I select a ROM it brings up a message saying "Loading Machine 46%", Hyperspin flashes off the screen the reappears. Sometimes the percentage changes, but the outcome is the same. Have I done something wrong? I've attached a log file to this that may help. …

Hi Roller coaster tycoon requires me to put the disk in f rather than g upon launch in the virtual drive. I don't have to rally do this but rather I have to change f:/ to g:/ in the pop up prompt and push enter I'm wondering if there is an ahk guy out here that could send me a command to after fade and when the prompt appears to push delete once, then type g and press enter.

Hey guys, been searching around for this answer and I cannot find it (maybe I am not typing in the right tags?). I setup a Nintendo Power wheel for my machine, and was wondering 2 things: 1) How can I change the custom lettering on the ROM names (not the side wheel, the actual names of the roms... for example the "Nintendo Power Issue 058 March 1998" text)? and 2) Is it possible to have a video or my own MP3 running in the background for all the magazines (ROMS)? Hi, Anyone out there have any thoughts on this? Using Project 64 to emulate runs good through RLUI and Hyperspin only if I have logging on Troubleshooting inside Rocket Launcher. My question is that in both these Tutorials ( on Minute 2:14 in the first and accordingly on minute 19:45 in the second tutorial) have me replacing the Hyperspin.exe file AND the Scripts folder in the main HyperSpin1.3.3 folder with the newer versions of those files from within the Hyperspin 1.4.16 folder. Guys i have been away quite a while from HS....I have just updated RL in about 3 months.....Anyways everything seems to work still so far in my HS setup apart from the Mame Bezel/Video setup. When i go to start a game that runs Via Mame,the game starts fine but within a bezel.Now the bezel seems to be squeezed further into the screen making the game window smaller than usual and surrounding the bezel is large black bars: 1.How do i enable bezel to fit correctly again? ie No massive black bars first then small bezel? 2.Also My main problem is the Game Video: Now when the game starts it seems to play within a CRT looking monitor with Scanlines,although this is R…

Hi there, ive just added crazy taxi 3 pc version to my racing setup. the game runs fine outside of hyperspin, but inside of hyperspin when i select the game, it runs ok through the menus then as far as the loading screen just before the game itself starts then i get ct3.exe has stopped responding.... any ideas? chris

I know this is one old question but I am still needing assistance from you kind folks. Here's the rundown: 1) Building my first MAME cabinet. 2) Got HyperSpin 1.4 running great. Love the way the program operates and looks. It's all I've wanted in a front end. 3) Downloaded Video Clips from PleasureDome. They are in .mp4 format and are in my Media/MAME folder. 4) Upon startup and cycling through games only the audio previews play. 5) I've installed all the codecs I've seen referenced on other threads. 6) I've checked to see if these videos work in Windows Media Player... Hi, I have RocketLauncher set to use XPadder for both the Hyperspin frontend, as well as a separate profiles for each game. The problem is that when you select the game, there is some flashing as Xpadder seems to launch, change profile, then minimise, but the game never comes into focus... it just sits on HyperSpin. The game does open as I can Alt-Tab to it. The same happens with JoyToKey. Any ideas? Another question also... I have set Xpadder set to launch with hyperspin in HyperHQ. Is there a command I can send it to launch with a specific profile? At the moment it launches with whatever profile was last used. Thanks, Nathan.

Hi, I'm new to posting logs so hopefully I do this right. When exiting Sega Model 2 emulator running from Hyperspin, it does not return to Hyperspin wheel. The windows screen comes back up and Hyperspin is running minimized and will not return to full screen. Hi All, I won't bore you all with my early HS issues but trying to learn this all from scratch. when setting up Taito Type X, all seems fine, games are fine in audit etc until trying to load game where I am then instructed "Creating missing keysHyperspin,hyperlaunch,modules,pc launcher,pc launcher ini. when checking PC Launcher module there is no ini file there?? don't even know how this happened but is there anyway to correct this? is anyone able to help?
