Hi, I have RocketLauncher set to use XPadder for both the Hyperspin frontend, as well as a separate profiles for each game. The problem is that when you select the game, there is some flashing as Xpadder seems to launch, change profile, then minimise, but the game never comes into focus... it just sits on HyperSpin. The game does open as I can Alt-Tab to it. The same happens with JoyToKey. Any ideas? Another question also... I have set Xpadder set to launch with hyperspin in HyperHQ. Is there a command I can send it to launch with a specific profile? At the moment it launches with whatever profile was last used. Thanks, Nathan.

Hi, I'm new to posting logs so hopefully I do this right. When exiting Sega Model 2 emulator running from Hyperspin, it does not return to Hyperspin wheel. The windows screen comes back up and Hyperspin is running minimized and will not return to full screen. Hi All, I won't bore you all with my early HS issues but trying to learn this all from scratch. when setting up Taito Type X, all seems fine, games are fine in audit etc until trying to load game where I am then instructed "Creating missing keysHyperspin,hyperlaunch,modules,pc launcher,pc launcher ini. when checking PC Launcher module there is no ini file there?? don't even know how this happened but is there anyway to correct this? is anyone able to help?

Hyperspin running fine with mame then it updated this morning. Now when I run a game it lads the actual mame program where I then have to select the game in mame to get it to work. Suggestions please

Howdy all, I have a bit of a odd problem I cant get my head round. I recently managed to find a Taito Type X game set (Took like a week of searching!) Anyways thanks to Gigas file pack and video I managed to get them all working fine through their assosiated batch files or loaders. But when i loaded them into HS some of them just wont run. I select one HS looses focus as it should, The Batch file window pops up on the screen for a second or 2 as normal and then nothing. HS does not get focus back and the game does not load properly. So, what few roms and ISOs I do have are located in a folder with their respective emulator, while also in a folder for each specific title. For example, Xenogears is ripped and located in a folder named Xenogears inside of the Playstation emulator folder, Ninja Gaiden is in a Ninja Gaiden folder inside of NES, and so on. Everything is uncompressed because I have 3TB and don't really care about saving space. Names are also adjusted to remove the clutter of release dates and region tags. From my understanding, in order to get games to run through Hyperspin, you have to get the metatags to line up with how everything is formatted within Hyperspin at default. Is there a …

Hi guys, I am in the process of converting a Sega Twin Rally to an emulated system. I have bought a couple of Logitech Driving Force Pro's, which I plan to use the electronics from as in the L2M2 solution. I am hoping to control the Hyperspin frontend with the steer left/right for up and down, and the accelerator pedal for enter. Is this possible? Second Question, how do I remove all emulators from the list that I won't be using? And also all the games that I won't be using for those emulator that I am using? Thanks, Nathan. I want to begin with an apology for posting this to begin with. Ive searched the forums and I know this question has been asked and answered multiple time, but none of the fixes have worked for me... I cannot get hyperspin to search by letter when in any wheel. I can only think the problem is with the xml because when i first got the cabinet, the search function worked on mame (MAME was the only wheel that came preinstalled.) since then i have added multiple console wheels, and also added games to my MAME wheel. once i updated the xml for MAME, the search function no longer worked. Indexing is set to true in all xmls and the first game of every letter is set Image"A"…

Hello folks, I've been running into an issue which I cannot figure out what to do to fix. I added my MS-DOS games to RocketLauncher, followed the Module Notes to get it working (or I believe I did?). When I click the Launch button on RocketLauncher I have no problem and the game opens, full screen. However, if I start the game from HyperSpin, my screen will flicker a few times as if it's trying to go full screen and goes crazy basically, ending up with a Windowed version of the game behind the HyperSpin window. I can ALT+TAB and then ALT+ENTER to get it working but, of course, I just want it to work automatically. I set Full Screen to False just t…

Hello everyone! I am new to the HyperSpin system and I've learned a lot these past couple of days I've been playing with it. I was able to setup the systems I want, got the right videos, wheels, etc. I have come across an odd issue that I cannot figure out how to fix and was wondering if anyone has ran into it. I have about 19 different system on my setup and after adding the games that I want on each, only 2 of the system I can hold the right or left key to show the Letter wheel. Hello, Retroarch loads fade in , bezel and configured controller settings options when using; but when loading game in hs, it boots straight to game( no fade in) and no bezel, and controller will does not work for certain buttons..but game does load. Apologies for what is no doubt a noob question... I am trying to install Hyperspin and RocketLauncher following the video tutorial on the tutorials page. Having set the paths to the emulator (Sega Model 2) to d:/HyperSpin/Emulators/Sega Model 2/, when I try to launch a game I get the attached error. Any ideas?

I'm new to HyperSpin, but have followed the official tutorials and am trying to audit my ROM collection now. With a number of systems, I am receiving this error when I attempt to use Don's RON Renamer: Error opening your XML source list: An item wit hthe same key has already been added. Odds are your XML file contains invalid characters. Were you using rom2xml? If so, that might be your problem. Note that I am using the official and most recent HyperLists posted at www.hyperspin-fe.com. Is there a solution to this issue? Can I modify the XML files to be digestible? Thanks!

So I have added in the few clones that I want into my mame.xml and it shows up fine in Hyperspin. I’ll use Pac-Man (Midway) (rom: pacman) as an example. There is an error when I load it in Hyperspin because RocketLauncher can’t find pacman.7z The weird thing is, from mame64.exe’s GUI, you can run it fine. I don’t have a pacman specific rom, so I assume the info is already in other parents or other 7z’s. I know I can just get the clone specific roms and that fixes it, but I wonder what other people have done with theirs?

Hey guys, So im running into a issue with both Atari 5200 and 7800 emulators. It seems that both work perfectly when i load a game through RocketlauncherUI, However when I try to run a game through Hyperspin neither will load a game. Basically it tries to load but then brings be back to the HS main menu. Like I said, both systems run perfectly loading a game through RLUI but not through HS, which is really weird. I have all my other emulators working through HS perfect so I dont think its a setup issue. Attached is my log. I hope someone can help. I have an arcade cabinet and currently only use single wheel for MAME games. I am wondering if it is possible to continue using just one wheel and cycle games for both MAME & Daphne and lunch games accordingly? Thanks!!

Hello! I am currently having a big problem running any Sammy Atomiswave or Sega Naomi titles on RocketLauncher or HyperSpin. You see, when I configure my controllers on DEmul 0.7 and then run a game, everything is fine, works flawlessly. I can close the program, reopen it and the padDemul.ini file is still there, intact, just as I had configure it previously. But, when I go to RL or HS and attempt to run any Atomiswave or Naomi roms, they do launch fine, but my controller suddenly has no output, the software receives no inputs from my controllers. I try to reconfigure my controllers again, and they do work, but if I ESC to exit the game and enter Naomi or Atomiswave agai…
