Bug_53 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 That's pretty awesome. I've seen videos on YouTube about that homebrew, I think it's pretty good.
damageinc86 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I just found a fix it felix jr. genesis rom too, and this one has the whole bulldozer intro and stuff, the old one i found was different. I like this one way better, and it's actually a really fun game. Easy to launch with a genesis emulator also.
Agrajag Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I wonder if anyone is working on it for any other consoles? At this rate, retrogamers in the future may end up thinking it was a real game all along! One day someone will start looking for all the FIFJ cartridges that Atari buried in the desert... Bug_53 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Hey guys, putting this in a new post so you guys can see. Here is another update to the graphics pack, featuring some new additions: texture2v6.bmp texture2v6_HappyRalph.bmp It includes all of the edits by frostyfire03530 and myself, plus the modifications done by fire10 that he kindly allowed me to share. Changes done by fire10: Fixed Ralph's facial expression when Felix gets his medal. (Mouth was originally too low) Redrew Ralph's landing animation to be more accurate to the film. As you can see, I have also created "Happy Ralph" versions of his edits, for consistency sake. I hope he's okay with that. Fire10 my friend, thank you so much for these and for allowing me to share them. If there are any other edits you need help with, you know who to call. Everyone watch this space for future updates.
Bug_53 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Small update. I have gone back and redone Ralph's "Hyper Punch" using a screenshot from the film as reference. I believe I have gotten it as accurate to the film as is possible with my spriting skills. Preview Here are the updated graphics: texture2v6.bmp texture2v6_HappyRalph.bmp See ya later.
option8 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I'm hoping there is still enough activity and interest in this game and forum that I can ask for some help. I have downloaded the leaked Codemystics version of the game, in hopes that I can play it on my computer with my son, who is a huge fan of the movie. However, I have Macs, not Windows PCs to play it on. I thought I might be able to run it in WINE, but when I do, the results are very strange. The game seems to load, and I can hear the sounds when I try to play it (Press C to insert a coin, jumping, etc) but all I can see are the upper left corner of the screen, literally just a few pixels' worth, blown up to fill the emulated screen. I don't know if it's something with my WINE setup, or a quirk of the EXE itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated (by me and my 4 year-old son). Thanks.

rfancella Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 It's in /Upload Here/gigapig/Fix it Felix Jr So, most honorable Gig, Do you have a way to run the FIFJ.exe using the PC Launcher module? Or is this new FFJr still to use the old setup and launch FixitFelixJr.exe? Thanks, Ron Never mind. I found if you just set it up without the launcher script it works. But going to HyperPause and back again, removed the bezel. :S Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. And if they changed your life, send them a Beer!

gigapig Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 anybody know if you can run the fix it felix game on a raspberry pi either standalone or using retropie/emulation station? Fix it Felix is just a PC game so if RetroPie/emulation Station can run a PC exe then maybe it can.
