cnells2000 Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 ive searched the ftp and I cannot find the gamecube wheel art location.. plz help,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
gigapig Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 To search the ftp press F3. Try the Sonicjihad folder.
pinsanity Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Since all the previously deleted folders have been restored in the new ftp there are now 3 separate locations which have GC wheels, boxes and art. Sonicjihad as above. Gamecube Central. Nintendo Gamecube. Reminds me of that Simpsons episode with Scorpio when Homer asks him where he could find a hammock. Well, there's the Hammock Hut, Hammocks R Us, or Hammock World.
cnells2000 Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 thank you guys for the response. Im On the ftp site right now using ftp://ftp.hyperspin-themes.com/ i pushing f3 in different sections and i dont see Sonicjihad, Gamecube central, or nintendo gamecube. still looking.....................it must be in a really weird section of the folders

cnells2000 Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 Ok I read it......the wording is kinda confusing me tho........it said forum user name in which mine is cnells2000 so I would ftp://files.hyperspin-fe.com (I Hope This Is The Correct Way To Enter It) cnells2000 (Username I Use To Login) (PW) my password I use to log onto the forum site. when I type this in the bar at the top of my screen it waits for a sec then says page cannot be displayed I Am A Platinum Member If that matters any...I looked at the tutorial video and it said use filezilla and the ftp address they are using is the old one I Know U Guys are shaking ur head on this discussion. im sorry.....but im FTP illiterate plz help
gigapig Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Yes use Filezilla. At the top are boxes where you enter the details. Example. So in the host box would go "files.hyperspin-fe.com" Username would be "[email protected]" Password is your forum password And Port is 221. If your trying to put that in a browser, thats not going to work.
sandman7793 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ok download filezilla, once finished open it, click file, then site manager, fill all the stuff in on right, changing the login to normal from anonymous, click connect. A boy stuck in a mans body

I replaced a very large amount of wheels. you are better of using hypersync instead of getting any wheels out of the FTP. And brolly once posted in the Hypespin Artwork project thread that the Gamecube wheel is 100 percent complete.

Gamecube Central is there. Nintendo Gamecube2 has disc, box and wheel art. I uploaded this personally after syncing with HS for the exact reason that GC Central WAS deleted on the OLD ftp and not replaced. My view is that there really should be no distinction between Gold and Platinum members in terms of what artwork is available to them as they have both made a financial contribution to the site, the only advantage is that Platinum have a one click solution available to them.

It is kinda up to the person who created the art to decide if it is put on the FTP or uploaded to the Download section as a set or just available through Hypersync. So if you created it then you are free to post it on Facebook if you want but if your not the original creator the site admins have the right to remove it from another source as the original creator did not agree to it. Copyright is a wonderful thing.

I partially take my foot out of my mouth, you are right. but I'm also right, the Gamecube central folder is still outdated the "better quality replacements for 591 wheel pack updated 3-13" wheels are mine. and the last update might be March 13 2012 not March-2013, I stopped updating that folder and summit files directly to Hyperbase. given that I'm a gold member I agree with you
sandman7793 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 The problem is, hypersync hasn't been updated with GameCube wheels from the project yet has it? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk A boy stuck in a mans body

I was Gold for a very long time and only upgraded because of the fact I kept reading posts about new artwork being made available on Sync and not seeing it matched to the ftp. Now that I have the benefit of Platinum and I see requests for missing artwork to be uploaded to the ftp from a gold member I am happy to help out when I can. The problem is, hypersync hasn't been updated with GameCube wheels from the project yet has it?Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk I synced Gamecube again after reading 32's post and nothing downloaded. There are still a few Euro and Jap wheels missing. FTP and Sync are equal in terms of available artwork for Gamecube. Nintendo Gamecube2 is the folder I am using on the ftp.
sandman7793 Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Cool. I have all the games for GameCube so will have to see what's available. Right now I'm sitting at 524 wheels. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk A boy stuck in a mans body
