gigapig Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 They will be red as these games are Roms and you cannot add a Rom path so there is nothing for RLUI to cross match. Did you add the games and paths in "Edit Global Module Settings" ? Post your log.
DR9 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Found out the problem, disabled FADE and saw it was stuck at the security prompt to run the .exe because of no digital signature. Sometimes, windows itself won't allow some .EXE files running without admin rights, so you can "force admin" in these by doing the following: Right-click in the game main executable (or the .EXE you want to test) and choose "properties". Go to the "compatibility" tab, then check "Run this program as an administrator", and click on OK Tip for disabling prompts in 7 and probably 8 is here: http://twigstechtips.blogspot.com/2009/08/windows-7-disable-file-security-warning.html
jedah Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 First off, I would like to say thank you to Gigapig and langersld for putting all of this together. I now have a complete set of games launching in Hyperspin with very little effort. I have a couple of questions though. When setting the configs for a 360 pad and copying the config across to all relevant games that use the same bindings I have noticed that none of my games accept diagonal movement. I have had this setup before I had a hard drive crash and I don't think I had this issue last time. So it is something I have done. Does anyone know the cause of this could be? Also a couple of games look very stretched and blocky (Chaos Breaker and KOF'98 for example). I think it is because I am using a wide screen TV and the image is being stretched 16:9 instead of 4:3. Is there a way of changing this so it looks a bit closer to what I believe should be it's correct screen size? Lastly, I cant seem to enable bezels for any game the normal way (rocketlauncher/media). Do they need to be enabled a different way? I figured this may help with the above games. Cheers, J.
gigapig Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 I'm glad you got it up and running so quick. I'm not sure about your control issues unless you need to reconfigure them. You could also check out the ftp folder of urbangangsta101 who did a bunch of different configs based on game type. You can sometimes change the resolution by opening either the gameres.dat or setting.arc But as you'd like bezels working check out the ftp for alexdc22 who did some great bezels and we put together some files as well so the res and window changes.
jedah Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Hi Giga, Thanks for the response. I will look into the controller suggestions. I think I know where I am going wrong with the bezels.
jedah Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I thought I would post my findings regarding no diagonals on a wireless 360 pad. I ended up using the taito config tool to set the directions as the cursor keys and set the buttons normally, I then made an xpadder profile for each taito game and just mapped cursors to the analog and d-pad. This worked really well and will also allow you to use the analog stick instead of the d-pad if required. The reason I did a config per game is because some other games require other buttons to be configured so this seemed like the best solution. I have no idea why the controller was behaving like this, but this fix works (for me, at least). Just thought I would post it for anyone else having the same issue. I do have a couple of questions. I still can't get bezels to work. Does anyone else use these for type x? If so do you have any tips on how to set them up as I think they are set up differently to other emulators bezels? Also before modifying Street fighter IV Arcade Edition 2012. The single player version ran fine, however after the 2 player mod the resolution is set too high for my p.c. and runs noticeably slower. I can see the graphics settings are different as the boot up sequence writing is tiny compared to the 1 player version. Does anyone know how to change this? Cheers
epayson85 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Hey guys does anyone know what happened to the thread about setting up Taito games while having a dolphin bar? I have seen the link passed around a couple times but it seems the thread is gone? http://www.hyperspin...ETOOTH)-Trouble
epayson85 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 FYI for those that come here looking here is the new link for those having trouble with a dolphinbar http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/7465-mayflash-dolphin-bar-and-taito-type-x-bluetooth-trouble/
Yardley Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Hey guys, launching some of the TTX games is very "dirty", Arcana Heart for example has a nasty flash for me (see video). Is there anything that can be done about this or is this how it looks for for you guys as well. Can some check and let me know? Thanks
gigapig Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 Have you tried some slightly longer fade times? Yours are a lot shorter than mine. I can't test mine at the moment but I'll try to remember.
emoney Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Don't know if this is a Hyperspin or RL problem. I am a noob to hyperspin and rocketlauncher and I am having the hardest time setting up TTX. I am able to get the games running outside the app, as well from the rocket icon in rocketlauncher. But when I go into Hyperspin it does not launch regardless of what buttons I press. No error message, just not launching at all.I followed GIGA's guide on YouTube to set up.I don't know if this is a simple setup issue that is common to PCLauncher and TTX.Any help would be great.I am running the latest RL on Windows 7 box with an AMD 6800 series gpuI have taken some steps noted in the forum such as:- skip rom and emu check.- checked the PCLauncher module is running as virtual emulator with no rom or emu path.Could this be related to controls of the game itself not getting the "start" button to launch the file.Another thing I was wondering if this is related to the .bat file and if Windows will allow that to run as a precaution, I lowered my securty settings to see if that could be preventing it from running. None have been successful. I am at a lost. Thanks in advance.
gigapig Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 So emoney, you've said the games are working when you run them via the bat file outside HS and when you click the Rocket icon in RLUI? If that is true and RocketLauncher isn't running in the task manager then it must be a HS issue. Perhaps it's your version, are you using 1.3 and have not rerun the Transition tool if you just added this system? Post the HS log and maybe the settings INI for TTX.
Yardley Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Have you tried some slightly longer fade times? Yours are a lot shorter than mine. I can't test mine at the moment but I'll try to remember. I'll play with the fade times. If you can try yours and report back that would be great. Thanks.

I can launch the bat outside. I should have the latest HS as I just got into HS and I did not have a previous version. In another forum I read that the "execution" set to normal instead of hyperlaunch but the results the same. gigapig Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 OK, so your log shows that you are using "Normal" execution so you'll need to changecit to Hyperlaunch. The next question is which version of HyperSpin are you using? Are you using RocketLauncher or HyperLaunch? As you say you've just installed it I'll assume it's the former. If you're using HyperSpin 1.3 and RocketLauncher you'll need to rerun the Transition tool if you have just added the TTX wheel.
emoney Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I have HS ver. 1.3.3. Set back to Hyperlaunch. Do I need to run the transition tool? i never had hyperlaunch.
gigapig Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 Yes I think you need to every time you add a new system.
emoney Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I have the transition tool and it is looking for the Hyperlaunch folder. I never had hyperlaunch. I started with rocketlauncher.
ninja2bceen Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Yes I think you need to every time you add a new system. If you are running1.4 do you have to ru. The transition tool every time u add a new wheel too? Tapatalk signature Looking for letter makers. emoney Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Yes I think you need to every time you add a new system. OK. I see so HS is trying to run HL, which I don't have. I run the update tool to to have HS use the RL.exe which has all my settings. Will give it a go and see you on the other side..I hope. Update: Updating the Hyperspin inis did it. Using the Hyperspin 1.3 selection and Update only worked out. Thanks again gigapig
glstar Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I can't remeber if Street Fighter IV could be run in two players mode and can works without the need of networks too. someone could help me please?
gigapig Posted August 11, 2015 Author Posted August 11, 2015 I can't remeber if Street Fighter IV could be run in two players mode and can works without the need of networks too. someone could help me please? I'm pretty sure that version is single player only and you may be able to disable network in the service mode. My advice would be to just use SSFIVAE 2012 and patch it for 2 players.

zillion23 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I am having a problem with Arcana Heart 2 and 3 since I upgraded to windows 10 with my wireless xbox controller. If I have the controller turned on, the games will not launch but if I turn the controller off they launch just fine. Anybody else having these issues? I think they might have changed something with the xbox controllers.
